My 1st Contest! Results up! Ready for lock

Welcome to my first contest! Since this is my first one, and in celebration of it, there will be no entry fee! Now, down to business.

 

There are ten available spots. This will be a single round contest with me and two others judging.

2. Naturally, swearing, flaming, spamming, and cheating are forbidden. (Duh)

2nd place: 2 reps

3rd place: 1 rep

 

[spoiler=End date]The contest is to last from today, 2-10-2010 to 2-15-2010. Giving everyone the weekend to be able to create their cards.

 

 

 

Now, all that remains is the theme for the contest.

 

[spoiler=Theme]Kamikaze Machines! Everyone is to create a Machine type monster with an effect that ends up having it destroy itself, or is activated when it is destroyed.

 

 

 

You will be judged on the following:

3. OCG (15 points)

4. Card's Effect (35 points)

5. Card's overall balance and usefulness (30 points)

 

The one who scores the closest to 300 will be declared the winner. (Obviously)

Please explain the Kamikaze machines... machines that kill themselves. Machines w/the "Kamikaze" archtype? Machines that come from Japanese Hurricanes? Or maybe WWII machines that divebombed against the Alliance..?

During your End Phase, if this card is the only Machine-Type monster on your field, remove it from play. During your Standby Phase, while this card is in the Removed from Play Zone, you can discard 1 DARK or FIRE monster from your hand. Call a monster Attribute (FIRE, WATER, EARTH, WIND, LIGHT, or DARK). Destroy each face-up monster with the selected Attribute.
