Lets say Honest got a new ruling...

Lets say I got the rulings changed for it so it wouldn't be semi'd. This is the new ruling:

This effect always resolves first before all other cards activated during the damage step.

So now you can counter with a few cards that activate during the damage step.

and a second ruling:

This effect can now only be activated on the controllers turn.

So now, lets say these rulings WERE going to happen. How would this affect Honest's playability or place on the list?

Discuss.

Well, that would nerf it a lot. But to make specific rulings on a card with the sole reason being that it's too good, then there's a major breakdown in the thought process here. Saying it resolves first would be very dumb, as there is no reason why it would. And the only activatable on the turn players' turn is also dumb because the card specifically says EITHER PLAYER'S damage step.

Honestly, this card is honestly one of the best honest light support cards that has honestly come to game, however, honestly it needed to be semi'd to prevent the honest otk with multiple honests in the hand, honestly. Honesty ftw! Also, a ruling change would honestly make this card less of a "semi-staple" for light decks, due to it being more counter-able in an honest way.

I said honest too many times, didn't I? Be honest

I count 13 words have "Honest" in it's name, seriously o_O.

The ruling would ruin Honest D:

I know, I put 13 in it on purpose. To counter the point of this card pretending to be an angel yet in actuallity it is pretty much a +0 to any light battle, instant field advantage against almost any monster. But then again, when do people actually battle anymore, most of it is just destruction effects and attacking directly.

people battle alot. especially when you leave a Lumina is face-up attack position with no backrow. you can't just ignore it you know.

OT:

i like the first ruling to be honest :P

it would nerf it though and i prefer it being semi'd and awesome than being unlimited and meh-ish

By now, I know to not attack unless I know what my opponent has against me, usually if they deliberately leave it in attack position after it has been on the field for more than one turn, then I know they have something up their sleeves.
