Even if you add the card back to your deck odds are you won't draw it before the duel ends. Still it can be helpful in decks that can search things out really fast. Chances are you're going to have your entire field blown up before they declare an attack if you aren't properly prepared, they're planning on using something along the lines of a Brain Control Synchro with a tuner or Cyber Valley drawing to manipulate your card, or it's gonna be an all out attack and after taking out your card they're moving on to decimate your life points. In the first case you want a card worth protecting for a turn. In the second case you want a card that can screw with your opponent, and in the third case you want a solid card to wall your opponent or cripple their assauslt. This card just isn't worth it, as faster albeit more costly versions of it that either search cards from the deck or the grave exists to do its job. If the meta was slower, had more searchers, and was generally control-based this might see some use. But at the rate things are going it just keeps on getting worse. True, but this is a flip effect, and as others have said, most flip effect monsters do not live to see their effects activated, or die after being activated (yes, I know ryko exists).
