fish1788
s373 is a bill that prevents the transportation of pets, pythons and boas to be specific. But the politicians did not consider the side effects. There is a problem is Southern FL with pythons, but it's very local and there is an organization trying to fix it, I'm sure they will reach this goal. This bill, however, affects the entire country. Let's say you have a boa or python, and you need/want to move to another state whether it's work, family, etc. and you can't bring your pet with you. You'll have no choice but to have your pet uthenized(killed). Maybe this bill will affect all pets... That is not good. You'll have to have your dog, cat, guinea pig, hamster, etc. uthenized. It will be just plain sad for millions of people and pets. Please, consider your thoughts before replying and be honest about your opinion. This bill could apply to other pets, but it hasn't been decided.
-Berserker-
If you like snakes, you'll not have them in your house. And killing guinea pigs would be pretty stupid.
Aximil
I looked up the term injurious animal. It came up with an animal that would injure or endanger any ecosystem in the United States. So I'm guessing that it just means constricter snakes (the bill is quite specific on the fact that it only applies to constricters) can't be brought into the United States. Flash Flyer - Sakura
I don't think this law should pass if it's like how you described it, but I'm pretty sure it's just going to be on snakes in general. Other pets shouldn't be affected by this. But for my state, bringing snakes into the area is already forbidden. So I can't bring my snakes on a plane anymore? Apparently you can't. The Dark One
I don't like the concept, but I understand the motivation. Should it be passed? Hard to say. I suppose it depends largely on your political philosophy.

The Borg
I checked and it's not cats, dogs, guinea pigs, hamsters, just snakes of the python genera which will prevent Pythons from being imported into or shipped into the united states. I don't think that's all that bad actually.

I don't think that's all that bad actually.[/quote'] There are millions of people owning snakes in the U.S. Most of those snakes are for hobbies and jobs. I know people that make these look bad when they really aren't. The people who do this as both a hobby and a job to educate people about snakes will lose their jobs, beloved pets, and purpose in life. And I didn't mean into United States, I mean across the U.S. state borders.WHY WON'T ANYBODY GET THESE MOTHERFUCKING SNAKES OFF THIS MOTHERFUCKNG PLANE? Did you not read, "consider your thoughts before posting." And I forgot to mention to consider how other people would feel. It's a bit insulting in my opinion.
