Scatty
Endymion decks. Yeah, they are really damn good when you get the Field in the very first turn, but are mediocre if you don't have that chance. Discuss how do the first 5 cards you draw affect the fate of the entire duel. Also, discuss this rework on Endymion (I love reworks): Each time a Spell Card is activated, place 1 Spell Counter on this card. Increase the ATK of all Spellcaster-Type monsters on the field by 100 for every Spell Counter on this cardWhen a card with a Spell Counter(s) is destroyed, place its Spell Counters on this card. Once per turn, iIf you would activate a card's effect by removing a Spell Counter(s) from cards you control, you can remove Spell Counters from this card instead. If this card would be destroyed, you can remove 1 Spell Counter from this card instead. You can remove any number of Spell Counters from this card to gain 500 Life Points for each. -Griffin
The rework isn't really needed - just helps RML FTKs.And if you're running Terra and any search/draw, getting Endy shouldn't be a problem. The first 5 cards have a huge impact, because a large amount of Decks never get past 4 turns or so, so 10 naturally drawn cards. - Although with a new format, I'll admit I'm not sure on the exact speed. burnpsy
Discuss how do the first 6 cards you draw affect the fate of the entire duel. Corrected. Anyways, as Griffin said, the rework isn't even needed.
C.F.Yuji
Endymion is a big help to my deck, Without it, I couldn't do as much damage with Tempest :P.
werewolfjedi
agreed, the re-work isn't needed, and I find that I don't always need it to win with my counter deck.soildary, or a few quick plays and traps, and my monster effects usually take care of everything else. you need play smarter with citadel decks, you can't just spam everything you have and expect to win like with lightsworn. the deck's strength is that it can, but you don't lose much of anything if you don't since the counters stay, allowing you to use anything at a moment's notice. in addition, you can use the collection effects to make cardless play traps, for example, play exemplar, terra, citadel, barrier (needed to replace allure.) and then NOT use the summon effect. after having people have play me for a little while, they sometimes don't kill my exemplar, and I end up not summoning endymion the whole game. the deck needs to be setup like batman, you need a bunch of tricks and deception to win aganist the other super heros, and sometimes bring krypto(arca)nite. Canadian
I don't like decks that revolve around a feild spell either. I mean, you run it at 3 which makes you have 2 dead draws (assuming your opponent doesn't destroy it), and terraformings. Unless the feild spell card gives you a draw engine of some sort or the effect is totally broken, it just feels slow to me.

And the ones in your hand are for Summoner Monk/Endy.

-Griffin
Then it gets a counter for you using that, and everything starts again, except you're 500 LP and 1 card down.
Sephiroth_The_Legend
i came into this topic thinking it would be about Arcana Force....cause if anyone reallly thinks about it....they're pretty much all based on luck.. played correctly, luck shouldnt be a factor in Spell Counter Decks. TheTurtleOnceCalledGod
It's not luck' date=' it's whether you trust in the heart of the cards[/s'] The cake heart of the cards is a lie!OT: Duels can be decided without you having a turn with frog ftks, and most people do not run cards that can stop effect damage when they haven't even taken a turn yet, so honestly, it is more of luck of who you face and if your OPPONENT draws good cards or not, not if you draw good cards. Scatty
Meh, the greatest thing I did on that rework was actually cutting out the "once per turn". Just imagine! Summon Breaker, wipe the field clean every turn.
