Sticking with deadlines...

Well I don't know how you're doing but I have a massive problem in sticking with deadlines.^^

It's always been hard for me when I can't work on my own, on my own pace and when I know that someone asked me to do something, for that date and on that time. So obviously I cross every single time limit haha.=D

Right now I have a 10 pages summary file to write for uni (with original sources too ._.) and it should've been ready last Friday, but for some reason I started way past the deadline... No need to say I'll need at least one more week to finish.^^'

Well I passed every year so far but I know that it's not going to work like that when I find some work so I need a solution.xD

Anyone else who can't submit, finish or start in time?

People who don't have that problem: How do you do it?

I have that problem.

I tend to be so lazy' date=' so that is helpful -.-

BUT...I still have issues with doing stuff on time anyway...

Don't really know why at times o.0

Yeah we need more motivation... Even though I'm motivated most of the time but my brain and arms don't work together.^^

Somehow I manage to hit 90% of deadlines successfully but most of the time it's a night-before-deadline job for me.

Well it's a plus stat... I wish I could do that but most of the time I start a few nights after the deadline.._.'

PS: I still haven't started writing the analysis that I should've finished last Friday.XD

I have no motivation other than I can leave if I do...lol

Weird thing about me, I don't really care for much either way. Things that make others happy don't affect me, and things that make others sad usually don't do anything to me.

I just have my own breakdowns at times..lol

I stick to 'em, but its always a mad rush at the end.

For my last bit of coursework (I'm talking about 2 years ago now), I was behind everyone else (got moaned at for it) had a mad rush and ended up finishing before the rest of the class, and the last 2 hour lesson I was there 10 minutes. I got a C on that coursework.

Whenever I feel lazy I don't get em done in time.

Whenever I'm not lazy I get them done in time.

For example, I should be finishing off my Technology project briefing today because todays the deadline but I'm too lazy and I'm on YCM instead, lol.

But I usally get great grades ;)

I can't find it in me to start on a good deal of obligations unless I set my alarm for 3:00 AM, I go to sleep at around 8:00 PM, I wake up at 3:00 AM, and magically start whatever I'd had trouble starting before. The conditions just seem better to start work at 3:00 AM for me I suppose.

It's really starting that's the hardest for me, once I start I can generally continue. That's just how I do things though, might be an entirely different situation for you. Considering that I consider exactly 50% the best mark possible though (minimizes your workload amirite), you might not want to take it from me.

Yeah' date=' you always do something totally different. You almost never do the actual work that's important... I have soda now, I don't need cake. C=

But I need cake!

When I'm lazy and I don't feel like doing my work I demand for cake. That's what I'm doing now and I haven't started my Technology Project briefing yet.

Better get started on it or I'll never get it done!

Or maybe I'll just be lazy...Gimme Cake!!

I make a mental note in my mind that the assignment/project/work is actually due a few days or a week before the actual due date. So I'll have it done beforehand, and when I realize it isn't due, it gives me an extra few days to make last-minute changes.

I cannot do that. Seriously, how can you do it?

I cannot just do that...

I have a calender/notebook where I write down every single assignment/test I have, so I just manipulate it and make the assignment due earlier.
