Yankee
Hello all, this is going to be my last review for a long time, and my last post... But lets make it a good card, shall we? Chibi Sprite by Sirit of B.M.G http://arashi-yukawa.deviantart.com/art/The-Hiding-Fairy-51280981 If any card in either player's Graveyard is removed from play, destroy this card. This card cannot be destroyed by battle. Each time a card is sent to the Graveyard, you can activate 1 of the following effects based on the Type of card: -Normal Monster: Increase the ATK of this card by 300. -Effect Monster: Increase the DEF of this card by 300. -Ritual Monster: During the turn the card was sent to the Graveyard, this card can attack your opponent directly. -Fusion Monster: Add 1 "Polymerization" From your Deck or Graveyard to your hand. -Normal Spell: You can pay 1000 Life Points to return the card to your hand. -Quick-Play Spell: By discarding 2 cards from your hand, you can replay the Spell as a Normal Spell Card. -Equip Spell: You can Equip the card to any monster on the field. Any ATK & DEF increases are halved. -Field Spell: By paying 500 Life Points per turn, you can activate the card from your Graveyard. -Continuous Spell: Select 1 Continuous Spell Card on the field. Whenever it activates, apply its effect twice. Skip each of your Draw Phases. -Ritual Spell: Add 1 card with the same name as the monster the card Ritual Summons from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand -Normal Trap: You can Tribute 1 monster you control to return the card to your hand. -Counter Trap: If the effect of the card was negated you can pay 2000 Life Points to activate the card again. -Continous Trap: You can return 1 Continuous Spell Card from your Graveyard to your hand. If this card is destroyed or removed from the field you lose the duel. Well, this is gonna be fun ;) The card starts out with a way for it to be killed. Not a good sign, right? WRONG! If a card that was in a graveyard is removed from play, kiss this little baby behind. But then, it gets a good effect! It can't be killed by battle! Woot! Now it gets wierd. When a card is sent the grave, it gets an effect. This is where the effect gets long. If it was a normal monster, this gets 300 more attack, same for effect, but with defence. If by the off chance it was a ritural, those dead cards... Anyway, this card can attack directly. alot of good that will do with a 0/0 monster... If it's a spell, a normal spell, you can pay 1000 lp to get it to your hand. A quick play means you can discard 2 cards and play the spell again as a normal spell, thus activating the above effect. A continues mean another continuous gets a double effect, it just has its effect work twice. and you have to skip your draw phase. A ritural spell means you get the monster it summons from your hand or deck, kind of strong. A trap means you can tribute a monster to get the card to your hand, there is a ocg error there as well... a counter trap means that if it negated somthing, you can pay 2000 lp to play it again. A continues means you return a continues spell from the grave to your hand. now, that is balanced, but EXTREAMLY easy to abuse, but here is the clincher... if this card is at all destroyed, you lose the duel! Thats it, nothing else, you just die. here is the other problem...if it is even removed from the field it's dead. In other words, you play this, you HAVE to win, otherwise, its game. Ratings: Name: 6/10 cute, but, meh... Pic: 8/10 good with the name, but it doesn't show me somthing like death it dies... Effect: 9/10 nice effect, but has some problems. Grammar: 8/10 quite a few errors, but good overall. Balance: 7/10 the lose the duel thing hurts, but it's good. Star sense: 2: 6/10 I would think it should take alot more to bring somthing this strong to the field... Rarity sense: Ultra rare: 6/10 I'm thinking secret or ultimate... Overall: 44/60 or 7.3/10 To me, this card would be BANNED Just way to easily abused and used... It's a great card, it just has alot of ways to be abused, and then, losing the duel? come on... But good job! I hope to see more from you soon ;) I know the quality of this is down, i'm sorry. I am in a rush, i am leaving very soon. I hope your still here bmg in 4 weeks, along with all the rest of you when i get back. Cheers to all, Yankeefan ^_^

Yankee
Hello all, this will be my last post. The new reviewer is Darth Browarod. Here is his review of 1 of my cards ;) Effect:During your Standby Phase, you may decrease the ATK of this card by any amount. Then, increase the ATK of 1 monster on the field by the same amount until the End Phase of the turn. While this card and an opponent's monster with 2400 or more ATK are face-up on the field, all monsters your opponent controls with 2400 or more ATK cannot attack. During your End Phase, if you control this card and another monster with 2400 or more ATK, decrease your Life Points by half the total damage you inflicted to your opponent's Life Points this turn. If the ATK of this card becomes 0, it is destroyed. If this card is destroyed by it’s own effect, you may decrease the ATK of 1 monster on the field by half the original ATK of this card. As long as this card is in the Graveyard, all monsters with 800 ATK or less can attack directly. Alright, let’s get down to business. The card itself is a Level 6 monster with kinda low stats for it’s level. We’ll see if it stays underpowered as we get through the effect. It starts off with a nice effect to boost another monster’s ATK by sacrificing it’s own. The effect lasts until the End Phase, when the powered up monster returns to normal, but does this card as well? A slight overlook, but nothing big. It continues on to a defense strategy against the like of Jinzo, the Monarchs, and most Level 7 and higher monsters, saying that the opponent can’t attack with monsters that have 2400 ATK or higher. Then, it balances that out with a negative effect if you have a powerful monster, by making you take half the damage you inflicted to your opponent for your Monarch or other powerful card. In my opinion, this is almost too much of a drawback, but we’ll see.It then has a destructive effect if you overextend it’s first ability, that if it’s ATK becomes 0 it is destroyed. However, you may end up wanting to destroy it this way as you can then reduce an opponent’s monster by half the ATK of this card. A 1000 point decrease can help in a pinch. It ends with a nice combo to Gravity Bind, letting all monsters with 800 or less ATK be able to attack directly. This counts both yours and your opponent’s monsters, so I’d say it’s balanced. All-in-all, though, I’d say this card is underpowered. The stats are not too high, and you lose damage for having it and another powerful monster on your field. I think it should either be changed to Level 5, or maybe boost it’s ATK and DEF a little bit. Ratings: Name: 8/10 Interesting, but does it have any meaning? Pic: 7/10 Alright, but could be better. Effect: 8/10 Flows well, and effects relate to each other well. Grammar/OCG: 9/10 A few errors, but otherwise good. Balance: 6/10 Underpowered. Recommendations above still stand. Star sense: 6- 6/10 Like I said above, I think it should be Level 5 at its current stats. Overall: 44/60 or 7.33/10 All-in-all, a very well made, and well thought out card. Good job Yankee, hope to see more excellent cards from you when you return ^_^ Congrats Browarod. I hope you will continue to review cards here ^_^ Cheers,Yankeefan
Parting Shot
I am honored to be the interim reviewer. Though, like I said before, I definitely won't be able to do a review everyday. Careless Whisper
hey, Browarod, mind me giving you your first job? If you accept, then can you review this card here? As long as this card remains face-up on your side of the field in defence position, you're opponent cannot attack your Life Points directly. When this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard as a result of battle, select 1 face-up DARK monster on your side of the field and increase the selected monster's ATK by this card's ATK. When the selected monster destroyes an opponent's monster in battle, increase the slected monster's ATK and DEF by the ATK of the destroyed monster. When the seleted monster is sent from the field to the Graveyard, inflict damage to your Life Points equal to the selected monster's ATK.

Guest Supreme Gamesmaster
Hate to crowd you, DB, but could you do this? It started as a dark counterpart for Athena the Battle Goddess in Shadow Avian's contest, but I revamped it into this 'cuz I liked it so much.
When your face-up monster removes another monster from the field by its effect, you can remove both monsters from play to Special Summon this card. You can remove your face-up monster on the field from play to Special Summon 1 DARK monster that has been removed from play and inflict 600 points of damage to your opponent's Life Points. During each player's Standby Phase, the player whose turn it is must remove 1 card on his/her side of the field from play. If they cannot, inflict 1300 points of damage to their Life Points. This card cannot be removed from play by its own effect.
ShadowKyogre
I think I'm crowding it up as well, but could you review these two (use the set directory to look at the archetype they belong in for guidance while reviewing)? Sapphira's effect: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned from the hand, Deck, or Graveyard by Tributing 3 "Death" Monsters. This card is unaffected by the effects of other Spells, Traps, and Monsters. This card gains ATK and DEF equal to the total of the ATK and DEF of the Monster Cards in the Graveyards. Any cards removed from play are treated as if they are in the Graveyard, and only "Death" effects can affect the cards in the Graveyards. "Death" effects are treated as this card's effects. Links to where they came from: http://forum.yugiohcardmaker.net/showthread.php?tid=45868http://forum.yugiohcardmaker.net/showthread.php?tid=44704 I don't mind who reviews these two, just as long as they are reviewed. Parting Shot
Review time :P Today I reviewed San-Meti’s “The Angel of the Black Rose” Effect: As long as this card remains face-up on your side of the field in defence position, you're opponent cannot attack your Life Points directly. So, let’s get down to business. It starts out with a minor OCG error in a pretty neat defense effect for you. While remaining in Defense Position your opponent cannot attack you directly. Very helpful against decks that use direct attackers in combo with cards like Gravity Bind. It then moves straight into an effect for when it’s destroyed, which basically designates a DARK monster on your field. Then, the rest of the effect deals with the selected monster on your field. First off, it gives the monster a boost of 1000 ATK, useful for almost any monster. Then, the party gets even better. Each time the monster destroys a monster by battle, it gains the ATK of the destroyed monster to it’s ATK and DEF, pretty darn powerful if you ask me, maybe a little too powerful. Though, that power is balanced out by the next effect which deals damage to you equal to the monster’s ATK if the monster is destroyed. That could be a serious blow if you’ve destroyed a lot of monsters with it. Overall, the effect seems to balance itself out mostly well. You get ATK boosts, but have to be wary about it’s ATK versus your current LP in case your opponent pulls a monster destruction card. Ratings: Name: 7/10 Fits, but the first “the” could probably be taken out Pic: 7/10 Good, but could be better. Effect: 8/10 Interesting effect, and it flows pretty well. Grammar/OCG: 6/10 A few errors, and some spelling mistakes. Balance: 7/10 It’s a little overpowered, but it would probably just be limited if it were real. Star sense: 3 - 8/10 Might be better suited as Level 4, but is probably fine at 3. Overall: 43/60 or 7.17/10 All-in-all, a pretty useful card for most DARK decks. That’s all for today folks, thanks for reading ^_^
Guest KAJN
OK well I wasn't sure about this card's effect in the first place so can you please check it for me. Lore:This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned while you have 1 "Seyvelin, Dimensional Caster", "Daias, the Hollowed Sorcerer" and "Creator of Electron, Elemtro" removed from play. Each turn you must choose one of the following: ± Use one of the three chosen monster's Effects. ± Use 1 removed from play card's ATK and DEF. ± Use another name for this card.± Equip this card to another monster.± Increase this cards ATK by 200.If 1 of the chosen cards is returned to your field, Graveyard, hand or Deck, this card is removed from play. You can remove from play 1 "Creator of Electron, Elemtro", equip this card to 1 "Daias, the Hollowed Sorcerer" or "Seyvelin, Dimensional Caster" on your field. Thanks in advanced.
