So aside from the fact how this card doesnt have the same Special Summining effect that Battle Fader has, the rest of it is effectivly the same. Hurray for quick effects?

if you can't handle battle stall, run something that doesn't focus on attacking directly to win.

 

I would suggest a burn deck, just for the laughs.

I would suggest a burn deck, just for the laughs.

 

Some battle stall is fine, but a new 1/2 T-Roars each pack is just silly.

which is why I play spell counter caster. always have tempest to fall back on for the kill.

It's true. I can't Sac this for Caius. What I CAN do, is bring this back with Junk Synchron, IRS, Synchro. So, I still like it.

that's the part I don't get about final countdown decks, why rely on that one card so much? why not take the offensive, but don't try to over extend for the win or anything, since time is on your side.

that's the part I don't get about final countdown decks, why rely on that one card so much? why not take the offensive, but don't try to over extend for the win or anything, since time is on your side.

 

Usually, at tournaments, when I play, the duels don't end quick at all. Unless I'm going against a n00b, but I'm usually either evenly matched or the winner wins by a landslide. However, no one has ever been able to take me out really soon, after 3 turns that is cuz of OTKs and such. Usually, It's quite a few turns later until I win/lose. Some I'm now thinking about siding FC because that is just lulzy...

You know... I honestly never really thought of it that way... if Final Countdown ever becomes good enough to be mained by everyone, all any other duelist has to do is activate their copy of Final Countdown first, and the other Final Countdown deck will be screwed.

This is a Yusei monster, we get pretty much entirely every Yusei monster...this will be printed in Starstrike Blast most likely as the poor man's Battle Fader (In the US since Battle Fader's rarity got upped) <_<

 

I'm not sure if this will be changed or not but as it is, Countdown Meta looks like well...a huge possibility.
