He is bad in traditional. It's true. Painful Choice is possibly one of the worst ones because its basically fuels anything. Also, Dimension Fusion, Dark Strike, Mad Scientist and Exchange are all faster. daboss144
If we're talking about pure power here, then I think last turn should be in contengency. Sure it doesn't neccessarily guarantee victory for a player once it has been activated, but the card automatically ends the game, which is more powerful than any other banned card if you ask me. Pretty much all the other cards on the list generate some wicked amount of advantage, or have broken combinations with other cards. Last turn on the other hand, does not generate any kind of advantage at all, and ends the game immediately without the use of other cards.

metalflygon08
In terms of splashability, Pot of Greed, every deck could run that, even if it pushed them up to 41 cards. Painful Choice comes in 2nd, becuase not every deck wants certain cards sent to the Graveyard (Ancient Gear's don't like Beast and Golem sent to the Grave, and if you send all your soilders/Dragons/engineers with it you'll have nothing to draw into later, especially if your Deck shafts you and puts all 3Geartowns on the bottom...) Think about this, my painful choice on Turn 1. Malicious - Plague - Krebons - Krebons - Other card that could be abused would you really want to run into that. Ben Rogers
Yes it's true that the Envoy cards are extremely powerful and unfair to most people (and a few other cards mainly the ones that have no cost or have little risk are the cards thatare mainly the cards that are banned.) And.......What aboutTribe Infecting Virusit may not have much ATK power but its effect is annoying especially if your opponent has GravityBind, Umi and Tornado Wall

daboss144
This thread isn't about the most broken banned card, it's the most powerful. There is a distinction to be made there. A broken card is one that can be abused through the use of a combo, or allows for a loop of sorts, etc (this is where a case can be made for CED, Fiber Jar, Pot of Greed, Painful Choice, etc). On the other hand, the most Powerful banned card would be one that is exceedingly overpowered as far as total POSSIBLE impact on a duel or game. So by this definition, the most powerful card on the ban list is Last turn, though an argument can be made for Victory Dragon. Exodia would also maybe qualify for this category, but it is not banned. Expelsword
Millenium Jar************Rock/Effect100/0This card can be set without tributing. When this card is flipped face-up, both players' Life Points become 8000 and they return all cards they own to their respective decks. You then each draw 5 cards. This card's effect cannot be negated. You cannot declare an attack the turn this effect is activated. That? That would be a powerful card....
