metalflygon08 Posted May 1, 2010 Report Share Posted May 1, 2010 If this was at 1, AG's would have and additional draw engine to abuse with Geartown, Discard AGGD for Trade-In, use Geartown to revive AGGD, draw 1, and you have a formidable beatstick on the field who doesn't care about traps when it attacks. Card of Safe needed to be banned so that konami could release a new onslaught of revive from graveyard cards that, although while powerful in their own right, are not broken because of the threat of this one card. It used to only be playable in zombie decks but themed revival is something they're trying to introduce to make the meta more of an archetyped one but safe return was too much of a hindrance and needed to die.
