Combine all cards in your opponent's hand' date=' Field, and Graveyard, and put them face-down, next to their Deck. Your opponent draws cards from that pile equal to the amount of cards that where in their hand, and send the rest to the Graveyard. Your opponent can set a number of cards equal to or less than the amount of cards you control from their Graveyard.[/quote']

Couldn't figure out the grammar on this one, and neither could Azrael. It's open game <_< so have fun with trying to correct it. And ignore the text on the bottom corner, I got lazy for once. Lemme alone D:[/align]

Just comment on the card itself Ghost xD

@Corezero: Such flaws in the Grammar are not the problem, it's the overall structure and wording that is difficult.

Thank God,

Icy's back.

It's great to see the old Icy, and original effects. Personally, I enjoy the new effect. It can be a little op'd, but it's still very good. However, I think the effect should be this way:

"Combine all cards in your opponent's hand, Field, and Graveyard, and put them face-down, next to their Deck. Your opponent draws cards from that pile equal to the amount of cards that where in their hand, and send the rest to the Graveyard. Your opponent can set a number of cards equal to or less than the amount of cards you control from their Graveyard"

Again, it's a good card. Not great, but it's original. Good work, Josh ^_\\\

Now...I think I like this enough...

So Josh..how about I review it? ;)

Riiiight...*cracks knuckles*

Been a while, eh?

As it turns out, I've finally seen a card deserving of..

Well, why don't I start this off a different way?

For all you new people, this is a Yankeefan card review. Sure, usually you'd have to pay for this (no, I don't accept "favors"...(okay..maybe..;))). See, I used to run a card review thread. It was the single most successful review thread in ycm history. However, after over a year of reviews, talent ran dry. I haven't seen a good enough card in a while. Thank God for the return of Icyblue ^_\\\

So...I think I should get started.

We all know Icyblue. If you don't, welcome to YCM. Icyblue was a student of mine, and I gotta say, he's by far the best I've had. He himself has become a legend on the site, and has a style all his own of card making.

For those who don't know, his cards are almost always made in an emotional way, and as such, he has a great connection with the cards he makes. Along with that, he can make new, fantastically original effects. Such as this one here.

"Yankee, if you don't mind me asking, what is so special about this card?"

My my my...my young...lets just say young...readers.

How often can you draw cards...NOT from the deck? Or..let my rephrase that...

How often can your OPPONENT draw cards..NOT from their deck?

Thats right, Icy's done it again. Like Britney Spears, he's found another way to benefit the enemy. However, if you know Icy, you'll know you actually don't want to be the one receiving the gifts.

This card happens to be the specialty of Blue, a spell card. He has been a great card maker, and is known as the spell card master (aside from myself ;)). I can't expect this card to be bad, of course. I'm not disappointed.

This card is fun, to say the least. When you activate this, which, by the way, you can do during your opponents turn, your opponent has to clear their field and hand. For added fun, they throw their Graveyard into this list. However, if you're the opponent, don't cry yet. These cards don't go to the graveyard, oh no. They actually are shuffled into a pile, or, second deck, if you will, and are put next to your deck.

Once there, the opponent draws cards from this "deck" equal to the amount of cards they originally had in their hand. The rest go to the graveyard.

Now you can cry.

OSHI-WAIT!

I'm not done yet..

See, now the balance sets in. Once your opponent is done drawing, they can then set cards, yes, set, as in, monsters, spell, and trap, up to the number of cards YOU control. This very well can backfire on you, or help you.

Oh, did I forget to tell you, the cards they set, do NOT come from the cards they drew. Actually, they come from the graveyard. This is a potential card to get rid of something like JD, or DAD, as your opponent may end up drawing those Dark monsters, or LS's, and sending DAD to the grave, and thus, cannot be summoned with this effect.

However, this can backfire as well. Icy saw this, and realized it would be more beneficial if the cards where set. Kudos.

Well, thats the entire effect. A potential game changer. Something you can try to use a last resort. While in technical terms, this is a -1 (clear the opponent's field +1, they draw -1, they summon from grave -1), it still changes everything. It's a book of moon on steroids, as it makes everything set, as you've read.

I'm boring you with this, why don't I just get to the part you like. The ratings.

Name: 9/10 Fantastic name. It fits the idea nearly perfectly

Picture: 7/10 It's a good ol' Icy-esk pic, but it's not truly perfect for the card

Effect: 8/10 Great overall effect. It's fun, and original

Balance: 8/10 Part of me wants to say this is OP'd, but every time I think about it, I keep realizing it's overall pretty well balanced. However, being able to use this at any time, and possibly ruining the opponent this easily can be a little...strong?

Creativity: 7/10 Overall, pretty creative. However, part of me feels like Icy held back just a little. It seems like he could have done something a little more extreme...

Overall: 7.8/10

Grade: C+

To me, this card would be: Limited

Final Word:

Overall Icy, this is a really good card. You've read my reviews before, 7.8/10 is a FANTASTIC rating. Clearing the opponent's field, and being able to easily screw them over with this is sort of a given, however, it has a high potential of backfiring. In most cases, it will. This will, of course, be a last resort card.

Overall, great job ^_\\\

Originality - 25/25!

OCG - 18/25

Name & Pic suitability - 22/25

Playability - 20/25

Overall = 85/100 - B.

Konami would just change the effect to ...

"Combine all cards in your opponent's hand' date=' Field, and Graveyard, and put them face-down, next to their Deck. Your opponent draws cards from that pile equal to the amount of cards that where in their hand, and send the rest to the Graveyard."[/i']

so it makes it easier for everyone to use and make it banned before we can even try it.

wow thats different love the originality though, this is like originality on a whole different level, basically creating a second deck, awesome, pic imo suits it quite well.

originality 3/3 (One of the most original ive seen)

pic 2.8/3 (suits fair well what with the attendents)

name 1/1 (destiny sealed it for me)

OCG 2/3 (good but a small few areas)

Effect 3/3 (already said great)

Balance 3/3 (well balanced as doesnt cause a huge threat)

Useful 1/2 (could shake ur opponents strategy for a bit)

overall idea 3/3 (very unique concept)

Total: 18.8/20 (very well done)

Doesn't Field = field?

Does OCG really matter?

Yes.

In that case, I'd disagree with you (even though I did ask for help directly on this thread). It's just basic grammar and ruling that I wanted help with. Having Capitals because it's a place of importance, rather than a casual location means little. So, no in that case you're just being too technical for comfort.
