Chimeratech Fortress Dragon & Chimeratech Overdragon.

Why?

They're broken.

How?

I don't want to ban JD because with it banned there's no point in the lightsworn archetype existing. I don't want gyzarus banned because as long as you play smart you don't get wrecked out of nowhere.

The whole Lightsworn archtype is based on lucksack milling their way to victory.

You can't say a card shouldn't be banned becausxe the archtype is no longer bad for the game without it.

Chimeratech Fortress has the capability to -5 your opponent and then poke for 5k minimum.

Chimeratech Overdragon is a walking OTK.

Chimeratech Fortress has the capability to -5 your opponent and then poke for 5k minimum. So suddenly having a card that punshies overextension and rewards conserving card advantage is bad...

Chimeratech Overdragon is a walking OTK. So?

It is based on milling luckily and drawing cards well to win, if they mill double jd and beckonings, they'll probably not fare aswell.

Lightsworn were bad for the game, they forced many people to run a horribly designed archtype because they thought it was the best way to win.

It's still a bad card for the game Fraz, if it was able to only fusion summon from your side of the field I would have less of a problem, I mean, you don't even have to control CyDra or a Machine to summon it.

And yeah, walking OTKs are generally bad the game.

If I draw 5 gadgets in my opening hand I probably won't win. If I draw no glad beast monsters I probably won't win. Saying that a deck is better with better hands is a bit redundant[/b]

Lightsworn were bad for the game, they forced many people to run a horribly designed archtype because they thought it was the best way to win. Nobody forced them to play lightsworn, and its only ever been the best deck when the other best decks have been neutered.

It's still a bad card for the game Fraz, if it was able to only fusion summon from your side of the field I would have less of a problem, I mean, you don't even have to control CyDra or a Machine to summon it.And if someone is stupid enough to leave cydra and a machine out while this card exists they deserve to lose.

And yeah, walking OTKs are generally bad the game. They're really not.

I always liked Fortress. Granted, it makes machine decks afraid, even if they themselves use it. Just today I faced someone who was running Morphotronics. He quickly summoned a few of them (using Celfon) on the first turn. I then wiped out his field and had a 4000 ATK Fortress. The sad part is, in the following duel, almost the exact same thing happened.

This is exactly the issue.

Some decks NEED to fill their field to do anything, and it doesn't necessarily mean overextending. For example, my Morphs need to fill the field with Morphs to win. Further, I have summoned 4 Synchro monsters before my opponent's first turn while finishing off with 4 cards left in hand, which is field-filling and set-up, but not really overextension. All of these would be ruined if one used a mass type-killer that requires no real deckspace dedication. CyDra can be used for almost anything in the deckbuild, but it will always double as a type killer if you put Fortress Dragon in your Extra Deck. -3ing your opponents and getting a large beater in return as no cost/almost no cost is broken no matter how you look at it.

I'll continue to feel that way until every major type has something like this.
