The Dragon Duelist
Yes CyberDragunity can OTK.. You just need to play it right. And Its just that people are constantly run OTK and FTK so it gets boring.
GenzoTheHarpist
What are you talking about, last SJC there were barely any FTK/OTK, and no archetype decks either. You need to get with the times.
RyanAtlus
Winning is fun.It proves that you have succeeded in doing something. Losing is valuable. It can help you to learn how to do something.
Toffee.
lol@TC starts this from a Dragunity topic. Look, decks are like Pokemon.Running a slow, theme-slave deck would be like leveling up a Pokemon with the daycare lady.Running a more consistant version of deck [X] would be like using Rare Candies on it. Now tell me, whats the best way to get an easy level 100? Magikarp doesnt count.

Guest Delinquent Girl NiAtSoFi
Nowa days we see nothing but OTK and FTK decks that "Pure" Archtype decks are being forgotten and it's sad that everyone is so worried about winning quickly that they forget FUN! Example:I was talking about my Cyberdark deck and everyone was telling me to build a Cyberdragunity OTK deck when the whole point was to build a pure cyberdark deck I could use for fun. This thread is for everyone to discuss NICELY about their points of view on this topic. Bolded #1: Are you joking? Speed is fun. Have you ever had the rush of spamming monsters to death and crushing your opponent? I remember in a GBA game' date=' I played Cyber Jar's effect, destroyed the field, and drew/ SS'd 5 Level 4 beatsticks while the CPU played 2 wimpy monsters. Being able to summon a lot of monsters in 1 turn easily is exciting and adrenaline-pumping, especially when the opponent can't stop you cold. [b']Bolded #2:[/b] "Pure" decks aren't always good. Good Archetype decks usually need outside help. Ex: Amazoness need Giant Rat/ Warrior Lady of the Wasteland for speed.
The Dragon Duelist
"Pure" Decks can be just as fun as OTKs. I mean everone I know runs good OTKs, but when it comes down to it they could easily loose to a pure deck. I personally prefer the challenge of taking my time instead of quickly winning. In my oppinion winning slowly takes a little more skill.
BehindTheMask
This topic is full on retarded. Run the deck you want to run, but don't complain that you ran a tier 2/3 deck and lose.

burnpsy
He's not spamming. He's right, this thread is pretty stupid. BTW, "Pure" Archetype decks can't even run suppost that is implied for them since it's not part of the Archetype. But as another point, you keep mentioning them as if they're differen,t but the line is a blurred one. Look at Morphs for a second. They can OTK with just a few Morphtronic monsters. Aximil
I find it interesting that you opened up a "pure" deck discussion with Cyberdarks. Their deck isn't pure since they run stuffs besides Cyberdarks.
The Dragon Duelist
This is true, but "Pure" decks are running archtypes with cards that specifically support them. Cyberdarks are related to Cyber cards so you can use them together and still keep em pure. This of course still being my oppinion.

Aximil
It's also like saying that Lightsworns can't run Honest since it doesn't specifically support Lightsworns.

Manjoume Thunder
In YGO, you can run "pure" decks if you follow these rules:- Don't complain about scrubbing at big events.- Don't complain about other decks being too strong. - Don't post your "pure" deck here. If you don't want to make it better, there is no need to post it.- And for the love of god, DO NOT advertise your stupid deck to newcomers. I've seen plenty of people who "help" newbies by giving them their absolutely horrible decks.
Guest
I find it appalling that the decks that are most successful are the decks designed to be most successful. This clearly means that all the players of this game are gray men in business suits who need more drugs and rock 'n' roll.
