arkel
You are aware that what you just said was' date=' "This is broken but everything else is more broken"?[/quote'] Yes. The reason why everyone here has no problem with MJ being legal is because it seems underpowered in comparison to all the broken cards we have. However, in a meta with a good list, MJ is far too overpowered.

Unban Cyber Jar plz. I don't care if it can OTK, it's too cool.

TCG Discussion is for the placement on the banlist of cards under a proper banlist, not the garbage that Konami makes.
Coffee Black
P.S. Unban Cyber Jar plz. I don't care if it can OTK' date=' it's too cool.[/quote'] It is cool. Even thought it's really really broke. I know that because a card can be countered doesn't make it less broken, but Starlight Road can stop so many banned cards. just a thought. Wizarus
I know that because a card can be countered doesn't make it less broken' date=' but Starlight Road can stop so many banned cards. just a thought.[/quote'] Starlight Road should be banned. As should this free +5. Your opponent also draws 5 cards unless your opponent has Protector of the Sanctuary, which isn't that hard to see coming. Also, Stardust Dragon is the bannable card, not road.
ihop
No, Road is the bannable one.Doesn't deserve to be banned, as in this meta a lot of Decks have small hands.

arkel
Also' date=' Stardust Dragon is the bannable card, not road.[/quote'] Whether or not Dragon is banworthy is debatable. Regardless, the principle of Road is definitely banworthy.

Regardless, the principle of Road is definitely banworthy. I'd say the Dragon is more of an issue. It's hands down the best level 8 synchro, and stops numerous cards in the game.Starlight Road stops some of the best cards in the game, which is a good thing, but is easily abused. Even if Stardust was banned or it never had the effect to summon the monster, Road is still pretty good. I just don't believe it's bannable. It could definitely be hit by the ban list though. OT: Jar is the shiz. I don't see Konami banning it.

Regardless, the principle of Road is definitely banworthy. If Stardust did not exist, Road would not be remotely bannable I hope. The +1 Special Summon of a 2500 ATK beater that can swap itself for another destruction guard is the problem, not the negation of a 2+ destruction effect. werewolfjedi
Why do people think conservative play is keeping cards in hand? since no one else will aswer you, I think it's because they think playing a monster is a -1.

Regardless, the principle of Road is definitely banworthy. A normal trap that simply negates mass destruction is hardly bannable. Banning it would be like banning MBAAS. Tronta
the cards only situationally bannable. its not even close to as overpowered as most of the sheet out there. in a good list, this would probably be banned, but in a good game there wouldnt be such biased draw engines so decks wouldnt have to rely on this. arkel
If Stardust Dragon was banned, then obviously we wouldn't need to ban Road, but the pure principal of Road is rediculous. Being able to negate an effect as well as summon a 25 beater that can negate a destruction effect once is purely out of the question for the game's merit, as a matter of principle. Toffee.
If Stardust Dragon was bannedThen 5Ds cant continue. Then Konami cant advertise possible future cards. Then the card game would possible die.

Psycho Shocker Android
An easy potential +5. Banned on any good list. EASY!?! Unless you are playing against retards you'll have a hard time getting +5 out of this. Morphing Jar takes an enormous amount of skill to play correctly. You can't just go set your hand with it because your opponent will know it's Mjar. Plus, in a good format OTKs are a possibility so you can't just give 5 fresh cards to your opponent. The only reason this card could get banned is if empty jar FTK somehow rise from it's grave because of the printing of a new card for it. A card that takes skill to play correctly and promotes skill shouldn't get banned if it isn't problematic at 1.
JadenxAtemYAOI
Good playing is conservative playing. Usually a good player's field will have up to 2 monsters and/or 2 S/Ts' date=' unless they're swinging for game. MJ punishes such conservative playing and rewards overextending.[/quote'] Card Destruction punishes conservative playing. It's not quite broke. Morphing Jar helps both players; it's not enough of a problem to be banned. Or you could go nuts iwth Book Of Moon and Taiyou as well along with card destruction
