I forgot that u don't have to summon SDD. :D But Oppression still negates it. Also, GBs are really good against both Infernity and X-Sabers. But nonetheless, I agree, X-Sabers have just too much support to not be good. Fortress is just a good target for Gearframe who is the card that makes Machina Gadgets good.
