Flash Flyer - Sakura
I vote for J-Max's card.I like the pic and effect seems better IMO. But both cards were pretty good though.
~Red
Alright, I have lost already, but I have updated the score-board. J-Max up by 3 JK233: Its been a long time since I have made a balanced card, so you should understand.
usetheforcehan
I'll try to judge both cards: ~Red's Card•"This card can only be Special Summoned from your Hand or Deck" -SS from Deck is OP imo. (-1)•"Special Summon up to 4 Spellcaster type Monsters" -SS FOUR monsters?! Are you serious?! (-1) Total: -2 J-Max's Card•"(1 must be a Token)" -Unique effect, at the same time hard to pull. I don't know if this effect will be useful in real Duel, but unique and original nonetheless. (+1)•"Special Summon 1 Spellcaster-Type monster from your hand, Deck" -The same as ~Red's Card. SS from Deck is OP. (-1) Total: 0 Based on the score, my voice is for J-Max's Card. ;)
~Red
Alright, this is my first 'Attempt' at a balanced card so... EDIT: Has anyone actually looked at the rest of my card besides the SS 4 SC Monsters? Read the text after it, it says 'During your Main Phase, Special Summon up to 4 Spellcaster type Monsters from your Hand to your side of the field' Read the bold, then think about your rate. Its quite uncommon for someone to have 4 Spellcaster Monsters in your Hand at the same time, as Spellcaster Decks are based usually around 1-3 Strong monsters, and equip cards... usetheforcehan
Add 4 monsters is not impossible imo. Today there are a lot of hand refreshing card's effect. There are also a card's effect that can change your monster type while in hand. And don't forget the luck factor, you can miraculously get 3-4 monsters in 1 draw. Although it has a slim chance, but it's not impossible. All i'm saying is if you build the deck focused on this card with the right cards, you can easily swarm the field and can rival Blackwing deck in a duels. ~Red
Yeah but look at the stars, Eight Star average ATK DEF Monster with a 2 SC Tribute, and an 'Trap Negating Reward effect, eg; Every Trap you negate you add 1 SC Monster to your hand, now come to think of it, it may be me but how many times do you negate the activation of a Trap? Lets say, compared to a Monster effect or Spell card, think about that, Traps now have trap effects, but then have continuous effects regarding negation... Then you can SS UP TO 4 SC Monsters, and add this card to the bottom of your deck...
RAEGING D0GKING
Reds CardYou cant use its effect never really....Once you summon it its gone. J-Maxs CardNot a fan of cards that are really hard to summon and then you get a powerful effectLowering its ATK to 2000 would be betterNice effect but double the counters?I could summon 3 Spellcasters in 1 turn easily and then I get another lv6 Spellcaster?;)Think about it J-Max gets my vote. usetheforcehan
Reds CardYou cant use its effect never really....Once you summon it its gone. I think he maybe forget to add the bolded part in the lore' date=' [i']"During your Main Phase, you can Special Summon up to 4 Spellcaster type Monsters from your Hand to your side of the field, then place this card at the Bottom of your Deck, then shuffle your Deck."[/i] It's just a minor OCG flaw and this card is fully playable imo.
