I threw together three SDMM's and a bit.

Not more than a few months ago, a friend invited me to a house tournament.

 

He needed eight for an even ladder and he knew I was interested in the game.

 

There was only a slight problem: I didn't know how to play.

 

He gave me forty dollars, a list of restrictions and ten minutes in a game shop.

 

I built this, and, through some miracle, ended up first place.

 

I appreciate any comments and criticisms.

You need Machina Force, but not for summoning. (If you get what I mean. If not, someone will explain eventually)

 

2x each Gadget

 

would also be useful. Also, you can make this top-tier by adding Jinzo and Jinzo - Returner + the Gadgets.

 

Also, the Assembly lines are pointless, and 3 Armored Unit is also bad.

ill do the explaining.

When Machina Fortress is in the Graveyard, it says you can Special Summon it by discarding Machine-Type monsters whose total levels equal 8 or more.

Machina Force is 10 stars.

Therefore, you can discard it and Special Summon Machina Fortress.

think of it as a searchable Monster Reborn for your Machina Fortress.

its worth putting 1 or 2 copies in. As it's searchable by Machina Gearframe.

Jinzo adds an incredible amount of OTK possibilities because of the synergy Returner has with Fortress. There are many ways to play Jinzo here depending on the situation. If you draw Jinzo you can wait and play conservatively until you assemble an OTK. You can also go with plain simple beatdown, especially if you can score some direct attacks. Lowering your opponent's Life Point here even by a small number adds a tremendous amount of new ways to OTK. You have to play the deck to see what I mean.

Activate Future Fusion targetting Chimeratech Overdragon in your Extra Deck.

Send 1 Cyber Dragon, 3 Jinzo's and 3 Jinzo Returners to the Graveyard for it.

As Jinzo Returner was sent to the Graveyard, you can Special Summon a Jinzo.

So thats 3 Jinzo. Then, if your opponent has no monsters, play Limiter Removal and attack for game.

I've put in the Gadgets, and they work quite well, but I still can't figure out Jinzo and Returners.

 

I can't find any other ways to consistently and effectively use them other than through Future Fusion.

 

Scrap Recycler was a very clever tech, by the way; thanks, Shocker!

You can also discard Jinzo + Jinzo - Returner for Machina Fortress, and you'll end with two monsters. And you really should put Gadgets and Scrap Recycler. Oh, and one thing : i'm happy to see level 1 member who posted decent deck with theme. Keep it up dude ;)

I thought Jinzo wouldn't Summon, since discarding him for Fortress is a cost; does it actually work?

If you send "Jinzo" and "Jinzo - Returner" to the Graveyard at the same time' date=' with "Future Fusion," etc., you can activate the effect of "Jinzo - Returner." If you send multiple copies "Jinzo" and "Jinzo - Returner," the effect of each copy of "Jinzo - Returner" can be activated and will create a Chain[/quote']

 

So you see. If you dump Jinzo and Jinzo - Returner to grave at once, you can nactivate returner.

Maybe for running over Catastor, but I can't think of much else.

If you get 3 Jinzo out with it, 7200 ATK on the field with no Traps for a turn is pretty nice. It's just not practical with Fufu @1.

 

Still, I like Jinzo with Arma Knight to send Returner. Instant 3800 ATK on your field with Trap negation. Has helped in a few games.

That sort of a play doesn't really fit in with this style, though.
