I'm seeing this guy being ran less and less lately as a Generic. [Colossal Fighter]

Recommended Posts

I've actually never really run this as a generic. It usually depends on the type of deck I use, but I typically need room for non-level 8 Synchros and I usually just run Stardust and Red Dragon as the main level 8s. The thing is, Colossal is unlikely to be killed in battle in the first place.

That's because Stardust is the primary choice. :P

Stardust is ALWAYS the Primary choice. ;D

Just in most Decks I run, it spams Level 8s and 9s like hell.

So, I always have 3 Stardust, 1 Colossal, 1 Dark End Dragon and in some places, RDA, but it never really gets in.

I still run this as generic' date=' mainly because my Deck goes into level 8 very easily, and I'm often pushing for game when my opponent has no backrow, after Trunade or something, and I need beatsticks.

I still run like this:

3 Stardust > 1 Colossal > 1 Dark End Dragon.

So I run 5 Level 8s.

But I just smack straight into Level 9s most of the time.

I once had a fun deck. It's not my ace. But... hehe.

Me: I use Tele with Malicious to get out Colosal (2900 ATK), and attack your Lava Golem I took out before! Also,

Opponent: What the f***

Me: Colossal keeps on regenerating, attacking and increases my life points until I get to ∞.

Opponent: What the f***!!!!!

As a Generic, it's pretty good. You can attack your opponent's monster with the same ATK as itself, and regenerate to attack again. But yeah, since pro's are far out of my mind's reach, they might have better things.

But really, the Palomuro Rainbow OTK is way better. :/

You don't need to Synchro or anything.

Just summon it, Rainbow Life, gg.

Opponent: I end my turn, with 5 Colossal Fighters on my field, and a Rainbow Life!

You: Cool story, bro.

You: I summon XX-Saber Palomuro, and flip up my Rainbow Life. Attack again and again until my LP reach ∞.

Opponent: sheet.

But seriously, with people like Tytannial walking round, along with Nitro Warrior nowadays in Kwikdraw Dandywarrior, this guy can finish them both in the same turn, and give the opponent -2800 damage. Which is lulzy.

Colossal Arm OTK.

One of my points. Colossal is versatile, just not used alot.

In my opinion, most Decks by now should be spamming out Lv9s and Lv8s like hell by now in the next format, seeing when DREV and STBL come out, the format will be crazy.

Colossal Fighter is a great card, just because he laughs at Kalut/Honest/Shrink/Miniaturize and any other ATK increase-decrease card. (You don't laugh at it because you still lose LP, but he does). However, there are two main reasons that people do not run him so much:

1.- It's only effect is Semi-Beatdown (unless you run a lot of Warriors) and revive himself a lot of times. Instead, Stardust allows for a lot of Control.

2.- It's unlikely that people will destroy him by battle rather that by effect.

Personally, I think he's awesome and that he should be run as a generic. But that depends on everyone's own thoughts when making the deck.

Every time I Synchro summon, I go for Stardust Dragon first because I got tired of bringing out a Sycnhro monster and get bottomless. Once Stardust Dragon is out, then I will bring out Colossal Fighter or who ever that I want. But then again I don't make too many decks that relies on Synchro monsters.
