玄魔の王
If this card is sent to the Graveyard for a Synchro Summon, you take 2000 damage and that Synchro Monster gains 2000 ATK during this turn. Black-Winged Dragon's new best friend? I dunno. Discuss.
WithTheWind
Prime Material Dragon and Rainbow Life :D I think cards like United We Stand and Mage Power are WAY better, but not saying you should use them.

Watch: Use Vice Berserker and Level 4 Tuner for Black-Winged DragonBlack-Winged gains 2000 ATK, then gains a Counter and loses 700 Now I have a 4100 monster whose hindrance I can unload. See why that's good?

White Void
This is the new confirmed effect? NICE. It's way better than the original that forced you to have to attack an attack position monster and made you pay 2000 lifepoints. Now it actually has combo potential maybe. Being a fiend means Stygian Street Patrol can special summon which is a plus. I really want to try to make some kind of deck that utilizes this and Counselor Lily to toss a huge boost into a Synchro and push for the kill. From the way it's worded though...I'm thinking if the 2000 damage is negated then the 2000 attack is as well.

If you consider the wording on both cards "When you would take damage to your life points..." is used. The effect that damages isn't necessarily being negated, but being converted into something else. The damage is still being received, but is converted into something else. If this card would work with Rainbow Life when it converts the damage you would receive into Life Points, then it'll work with Black-Winged Dragon when it converts the damage you would receive into a token. Either that or it wont work for either of them. I'll take a guess and say it'll work, but who knows until its official x.o;

Canadian
A piece of crap.Thank you. This is crap, it only gets 2000 ATK for one turn and there are a lot of better options.

Zauls
lol, I have 1900 Life Points left, this is the only monster on the field and all I can summon is a Gale. I am screwed. Pretty rubbish card. Plus the fact that if you get that huge Power Tool + Limiter Removal thing with this, Magic Cylinder will screw you[/sarcasm]
bentleyeugene92
ATK increasing/decreasing cards rarely get broken combos outta them. But the 2000 attack increase is nothing to scoff at. Mist Wurm would probably enjoy this.
TheTurtleOnceCalledGod
Would be playable if the attack increase was permanent.

I am screwed. Pretty rubbish card. [/quote'] How often does that scenario come up? Ideally, this thing can hit the field quickly (not hard since it's a Limit Reverse target); then, any Level 4 Tuner can get you Black-Winged. But that is about all it's good for, I agree there.
