Boring lectures and bunking off! (;

So today I went off to University and had the worlds most insanely boring lecture, so I decided to skip it and go to the swimming pool instead. Anyway's, I feel I really shouldn't have, I feel every single day of education is important to you.

I think you are right, you should keep on your lecture even if you are bored. The importance of education is quite clear. Education is the knowledge of putting one's potentials to maximum use. One can safely say that a human being is not in the proper sense till he is educated.

Yes, every single day of education is good for you, but that doesn't mean every single day of school is good for you. The lecture mightn't have educated you in any way, for all you know.

@marivic: That's pretty deep for a noob. Nice job, but I think you meant to say "you shouldn't skip" at the beginning.

Except when the lesson is completely pointless and you literally will not use it based on the career you'll be in - Oh, we're not talking about Math post-Algebra II?

Education is important, but only when it will actually benefit you. The only way having education every day as a good thing would be if it helped figure out what actually helped you.

Back to the farm fields and selective education then. Math is pretty fun o_O;;. The more you know, the more you realize whats possible outside what you already know (which is never bad. So regardless of the career path you choose the more the better right?).

Dunno, to me any lecture about any subject even if I already know it is good. Maybe I'll realize something I didn't, or maybe I'll retain the knowledge better in the end. Even if I don't end up using it, knowing that I can do that at a later date and maybe help someone or learn from it doing something else... Hell yeah.
