If your opponent controls a lot of cards, they wouldn't want to destroy it, because all other cards are destroyed with it as well, and you can just destroy it anyway (hence the "Eraser"). It's basically an idea copied off of Slifer, because Dreadroot was made from Obelisk, and Avatar was made from Ra. I think this card is just plain old terribad. Really, you tribute 3 monsters just to crazily destroy everything on the field, when you realize your opponent has Starlight Road set, and you wasted your monsters for nothing, while your opponent gains a 2500 monster. evilfusion Posted June 13, 2010 Report Share Posted June 13, 2010 Eraser just isn't worth the investment, whereas Avatar and Dreadroot are. Eraser's ATK is purely dependant on the opponent, and when you have a big monster, you want to beat them to a pulp quickly. If they have only one card, anything with 1000+ can kill this. It's better the more cards your opponent has, but the more they have, the more you should be struggling to even summon this. The fact it nukes the field when killed is nice, and the ability to just nuke it yourself is cool, but 3 tributes for a field nuke? Avatar seals your opponent's S/Ts for two turns and is literally impossible to kill in battle. If you have a strong monster out, it'll be a good beater. Dreadroot has 4000 attacks and weakens EVERY other monster on the field by half. That's a beater you can get behind. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

That's how I got mine. I REALLY want Dreadroot, since it's the only "Wicked" monster I don't have. Such as Chaos Emperor Dragon, Raigeki, Harpie's Feather Duster, etc... As for this card, its pic is awesomesauce (like all the others in YGO R), but its summoning conditions are evil.
