Fraz
Well Magic Cylinder is just one of my most fav. cards ever' date=' who ever said that Dimensional prison and Sakuretsu Armor are much better does not know anything about good strategy and should quit this game 4ever... no offense.[/quote'] Okay... to solve this problem we look at a lot of different game situations where magical cylinder and prison can be used as try to figure out which is better through the outcomes. 1. Opponents big guy is attacking my little guy. I activate cylinder to do minimal damage and -1 myself. Next turn opponents big guy attacks over my monster and I've now -2'd myself.orI activate prison to remove opponents big guy from field so over the next few turns I can attack directly and establish a good board. 2. Opponents big guy is attacking directly. Almost exactly the same outcome as above. 3. Opponent is attacking with a guy with more attack points than his own life points. I activate cylinder and win.orI activate Prison and attack directly with a guy next turn and win. Those are pretty much the only game situations I can think of at the moment but its obv that prison is never a worse card to play than cylinder. byak
Well PoA is pretty much a staple like it has been stated before' date=' but i would keep at 1 or 2 Max. Cards that work well with Pot of avarice: Lightsworns... and their milling effects.andhttp://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Painful_Choicehttp://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Magical_Merchant Etc.. Well Magic Cylinder is just one of my most fav. cards ever, who ever said that Dimensional prison and Sakuretsu Armor are much better does not know anything about good strategy and should quit this game 4ever... no offense. -Peace/ M.B X[/b'] You're an idiot. -Berserker-
I will not run Pot until I change my decktype (but I've become so well-known at the card shop that everybody have something in their side decks to counter my Macro, so sometimes I can end up with a lot of cards in the graveyard).Synchros have made easier for all decks to have heavy hitters. It's a good moment to use cards that use their own streghnt against them, like Magic Cylinder and Honest. But I like cylinder even more in my Golem control deck... Guest Ixigo
Pot of Avarice doesn't work well in a Deck that doesn't have a lot of cards which send your monsters to the grave fast. Cards which send your monsters to the grave fast don't work well in a Deck that doesn't want those monsters to be in the grave. Therefore, Pot of Avarice is not too powerful, however, as Oleon mentioned, it's one of the only real +1s around in terms of card advantage, and it does have some good combos - it just doesn't work that well with the 'obvious' choices. Magic Cylinder is just bleh. As has already been said, it only has a place in a non-OTK Burn deck. It would be a viable Side Deck choice if certain OTKs ever became competitive... but they won't. BehindTheMask
PoA is pretty much staple' date=' some decks can use it @3[/quote'] orly? I think that it should be ran at maximum 2. 3 Seems kinda iffy. QD varients mainly use 3, due to the major amounts of milling/grave filling.
