Expelsword
The following is a fun card: Pay all of your Life Points and declare one monster card name' date=' Special Summon 1 monster with the declared card name from your Hand, Deck, Extra Deck, Graveyard, or Removed From Play Zone, ignoring summoning conditions. If the summoned card would be destroyed, you lose the Duel instead. You cannot be declared the Loser by any other means.[/quote'] Return your own monster to your hand, you cannot lose. Change the effect to removed from the field, otherwise that card would be more broken than chaos emperor dragon LOLerrata Summon Creator.Declare it's name is Assault Mode Activate.Discard to Summon SDD/AM.(Best I could get) Creative... evilfusion
Summon Creator.Declare it's name is Assault Mode Activate.Discard to Summon SDD/AM.(Best I could get) ...that's brilliant. All the more reason that Identity Crisis should make you declare a MONSTER name to change a monster's name.

I think these guys are thinking that taking a card's name somehow also changes it's effect. Change name to "blah," therefore cards that say "This card cannot be Special Summoned except with "Blah"" can be special summoned by easier to activate monster card effects. This will make hard to summon monsters easier to use, but it would probably lead to a meta revolved around what can swarm best, etc.A Vennominaga swarm metagame would be madness, but all things considered, Konami isn't that crazy to make this quick play. Expelsword
If you put Machina Force in the Grave and then use Call of the Haunted, but change its name to Commander Covington, Machina Force could be summoned because he is being summoned by a card called "Commander Covington" as his effect requires

I think these guys are thinking that taking a card's name somehow also changes it's effect. It sort of does. Those cards are able to Special Summon, and the cards they're talking about summoning say "This card cannot be Special Summoned except by the effect of X". The card now known as "X" has the effect to Special Summon a monster, thus making valid targets. Although...if you take into account the Nomi rule, I think Special Summoning from the graveyard with that method is actually still illegal. Hard to say...it could be loophole abuse. Scatty
This theoretical card only changes a monster's name' date=' not an S/Ts. Although, with that noted, it should probably only let you declare a monster's name, although I'm not sure if a monster with an S/T's name would affect too much. It would be interesting, to say the least. Since Identity Crisis is a Quick-Play, you can also use Inferno Reckless Summon, and chain with Identity Crisis for the same effect as Dupe.[/quote'] No, it ACTUALLY lets you choose a S/T name for a monster. And, as a member noticed on page 1, it also actually allows you to name the monster "Ace of Spades".You can name your Daedalus "Umi" Yes. He could kill himself to wipe the field' date=' but obviously the ATK increase won't happen. The following is a fun card: Pay all of your Life Points and declare one monster card name, Special Summon 1 monster with the declared card name from your Hand, Deck, Extra Deck, Graveyard, or Removed From Play Zone, ignoring summoning conditions. If the summoned card would be removed from the field, you lose the Duel instead. You cannot be declared the Loser by any other means. lolperfectfinalcountdownandfrogexodiadefenseTopic card: It would make Rainbow Neos much more useful. That card would be so much better if it didn't have such a sh***y Summoning condition. *declares Rainbow Dragon* Well, let me think of uses for this card..... 1. Declare a specific tuner name. (that is, if the card IS a tuner)2. Declare the name of any fusion monster, the renamed card will NOT be considered a fusion substitute.3. As a good use for that, rename to Cyber Dragon, then use poly to summon Twin. Then, because the effect lasts all duel, use Overload for another twin.4. Declare 1 exodia part. Then, Compulsory it. Got the idea?5. Change the card's archetype to anything you want.6. Rename to "Unity", and run "Begone, Knave!". Yu-Jo doesn't sound so bad now, amirite?7. Rename to Sanctuary in the Sky. Do I get cookiez? As a note, this card does not give additional effects. Just changes the name. Obviously...
evilfusion
No, what I said before is you can't change the name of an S/T, only a monster (So you can't name Dark Room of Nightmare something else to loop damage infinitely). I then suggested the card should be changed to only let you change something TO a monster's name, not any card, to limit abuse. Uh, and Overload only summons DARK Machine fusions. Nothing else worth commenting on.

Machina: You activate Call of the Haunted. You declare a valid target. Then you can chain this thing if you want. In other words, it doesn't work.
