So, Treeborn Frog is now Semi'ed.

Recommended Posts

The difference between having two and having one is so small it isn't worth while to talk about.

The card itself is broken.

Stop being so Naive.

There is a huge difference.

With 2 frogs, it becomes easier to FTK w/ Mass Driver.

It allows Frognarchs to run a third Swap Frog, which means more consistent hands, because it allows them easier access to Swap Frog.

D.D. Crow has less of an impact.

[b']How does this FTK with Mass Driver? You can't have spells or another Treeborn out if your trying to special summon this.[/b]

I don't follow the meta, so I've never seen Frogarchs. It would help their.

Substitoad + any frog + mass driver = 8000 damage.

Look it up.

It's a small difference that means a lot.

Frognarchs are viable because Treeborn Frog is easily dumpable. With only 1 Frog, Crow can wreck havok on the deck, but it is extremely easy to drop 2 in grave, meaning that Crow can't really hurt the deck that much.

Treeborn doesn't make much of a difference for the combo, but I can see why it would help. You also need Ronintoadin for the combo. I found it funny that when I went to look up Substitoad it linked to an old thread where they talk about the FTK.

Yea, I can see why the Crow thing would make a a difference.

I think some people around here are half blind or something, okay, you guys missed a part of the effect the last part: This effect cannot be activated if you control a face-up "Treeborn Frog". that means being semi-limited makes no difference as only one frog can be summoned at a time using its own effect.

By people, do you mean you? If you've read the thread you'd know I brought that point up, only to be shown the huge difference having an extra one makes against Crow.

If both are in your Graveyard' date=' couldn't you Book of Moon the first one that SS's in the same Standby Phase so the other one will SS? It works in my head.

That's a terrible play.

It isn't if Summoning L&DD would ensure GG that turn. It's not usually good, but it isn't universally bad.
