Mehmani
Mini-Meta - An metagame specific to a certain area. In my school, I found out some kids were playing Yugimanz and decided to join in. BIG mistake. The best duelist there has an Exodia deck. He runs 3 Pot of Greed and 3 Graceful Charity. The second best runs a strange deck that seems to be a combination of Kaiba and Yusei (i.e. he has a Dragon fetish). His only really good card is an SD/AM I traded to him for Future Fusion and X-Saber Urbellum. They don't know what a banlist is, basically. That Exodia kid FTK'd me as well, the little shit. He drew 2 parts, 2 Pot of Greeds, Sangan and Graceful Charity. Play both PoGs, gets another part and LAST WILL (lolbanlist). Play Graceful Charity and gets the other 2 parts before discarding Sangan and Last Will. Discuss irritating people who use banned cards.

Headmaster Monokuma
I know two people who absolutely refuse to listen to me when I tell them Monster Reborn is banned. One of them even said that it "isn't a banworthy card."

One of them even said that it "isn't a banworthy card." Print out the banlist and show it to them. Anyways, it was fairly easy for me to force people to follow the banlist. I did two things: First and foremost, I established myself as the best player in the school and refused to face anyone who didn't follow the banlist. Secondly, I started a club where people could play Yu-Gi-Oh!, but they could only join if they followed the advanced format banlist, and they couldn't make a club of their own because mine was already on record. It worked. :P

Also, theres a rook there who thinks Dark Hole, Raigeki, Pot of Greed, and Monster Reborn are all @3, but thinks Lightning Vortex is banned. Why? Because in an episode Yugi was holding it and was like: "Oh that card is banned". ......Shoot me now.Please.... PLEASE!
Headmaster Monokuma
It's not that simple. He says, "Oh, we don't play with a banlist." So, I was thinking of dueling him with a deck of all the banned cards I had, but I didn't want to stoop to his level. I beat him while following the banlist. As much as I suck at the game, the people who I duel with aren't much better.
burnpsy
It's not that simple. He says' date=' "Oh, we don't play with a banlist."[/quote'] That's a common argument. I always respond by saying that it's as much a part of the game as the cards themselves.
Azmodius
I play teh yugimanz in school nearly everyday. We use fun decks and banned cards. On the last day of school I played a deck with all vannilas and spells. For fun, I run a chaos deck too. But in locals and regionals I play KoakiSworn, BW, and Hopeless Dragon. Great Unclean One: VK
Noobs. I haet noob who are horrid and love noobs who know how to play.[spoiler= Examples of horrid and good noobs]Example of a noob who knows don't know how to play at first: I once dueled this one chick who decided to try it out in our local. She was shy and the such and I asked her if she duel and she said yes. She used a weird Harpie and FL deck. She used Black Hole and killed all my field of nothing but Trickies. I pointed out thats a banned card and she said that she didn't knew. Then I finished her off with Yamata then asked her if she's knew to the game. She said that she was and I thought her how to play, saving her from Blakie and them from criticizing her and making her play meta. She now plays a successful FL deck which now beats me. Example of a horrid noob: This one lil kid asked me if he wanted to duel, I agreed. He used a pure Core Chimail deck. We started and I went first. I set down 2 Legacies and summoned Maha. He returned to my hand and I ended. The kid summoned Powerhand and attacked me directly, I allowed it. Then at the end of his turn, he didn't reveal a card for Powerhand. I told him he had to reveal a normal trap card or discard the Core or it dies. He reveals Royal Oppression and I tell him to reveal a NORMAL trap card. He said this is a normal trap card. I got pissed. I told Blakie to tell this kid that Royal Oppression is not a normal trap card. Blakie told him and the kid said that we're both noobs. I told him that I played YGO since it came out in the U.S, won a crap ton of locals before Yata was banned, and continued playing since. He said it doesn't matter, I'm still a noob even though I'm a veteran. I allowed it then on my turn I drew a creature swap. I kept it and summoned White Rabbit Inaba. I attacked directly and then on my 2nd main phase used Creature Swap on Inaba and Powerhand. I ended my turn and revealed Raigeki Break then took back my Inaba. He got pissed and yelled out I'm cheating. I said I'm not cheating, this is how this combo goes. He grabs back my Inaba and said it's his. I told another guy near me and told him that I get my Inaba back. He said he's not sure, but thinks I get it back. So the kid went to his dad and told him what happens. Now his dad comes over to me and ask that I play fair and square. I told him what happens when I use Creature Swap with a Spirit monster. He sighed and told me to allow it. So I'm forced to allow it and activate my 2 Legacies. I draw 4 cards and discarded 2 Asura. Then he said I wasn't allowed to do that. I got pissed and scooped. White Void
I love how one friend of mine said "The new cards are so overpowered they make all the old cares useless". Considering old cards consist of all the staples and the Chaos monsters I was thinking..."What..." but didn't say anything. BTW, Mystical Space Typhoon apparently negates even if you have proof it doesn't.

~Oleon~
I dueled a noob once.I couldn't stop lol'ing.Even if the noob was my older brother, but, still. Brother: Summons Breaker, sets Mirror Force and ends.Me: Foolish Burial on Plague, use its effect, summon Volcanic Rocket, searches Blaze Accelerator, I use it, discard Shell to destroy Breaker, use Shell's effect searching out another, Synchro Plague and Rocket into Goyo, set a card and end.Brother: Uses MST on Goyo, saying it goes because Goyo is a Synchro which means Spell Monster, and then activates Mirror Force when I haven't attacked. I get out my laptop and show him that MST is only on Spells and Traps with proof, and he gets annoyed and sets it back down again. He activates Heavy Storm and I chain with Starlight Road. He activates MST on Starlight Road, and I show him the proof that MST doesn't negate. I get a Stardust and he activates Mirror Force and says he wins and walks off.
