Most useful when countering other Traps that you can't afford to let by, like Mirror Force or a Counter Trap dealing with one of your crucial effects. RAEGING D0GKING Posted June 28, 2010 Report Share Posted June 28, 2010 The card sucks.Its only good in OTK decks to keep your OTK alive and OTK decks suck cos its boring using OTKs.Noobs think the card is better than Solemn.Solemn is 98% better than this. Dr. Cakey Posted June 28, 2010 Report Share Posted June 28, 2010 *Sigh* Look, everything that isn't Solemn pales in comparison to the original, except for its clones (Pollinosis, Mind Over Matter to a lesser extent). But - excluding type-specific counters like the lulzy Flamvell Counter - there isn't much better, solely for the fact that it negates both Spells and Traps. Further, if it itself is negated, you haven't paid any costs. Speaking of costs, it has a "cost" you can always pay. I mean, what else is there? RyanAtlus Posted June 28, 2010 Report Share Posted June 28, 2010 I dueled a Deck that ran 3 of this, 2 Bottomless, 3 Prison and 2 Complusory's yesterday.It made me go ><...I lost due to nut putting my Level Eater in attack while my Deck was empty...Anyways, decent card that just won't ever be as great as Solemn was... Well, it's limited. :/This card is more usable now, and I'd much rather have my opponent draw one than me lose 4000 LP at the time. The only reason I would run solemn is because of its other effects to negate things with. But again, it's limited. I'll replace all my bribes with solemns if it EVER comes back to 3.
