Rescue Cat makes this too easy to summon. A one-card Spell lock achievable on the first turn is sometimes a bit tough to deal with.

Unfortunately, it seems like Rescue Cat won't ever get the banhammer, so we'll just have to deal with Rescue cat being able to summon it easily.

see' date=' Konami, THIS is how Synchros should be designed.[/quote']

Crabby was referring to how this card has somewhat restrictive summoning conditions and a rather well designed effect, rather than the usual generic summoning conditions and very powerful effects.

I couldn't agree with you more, Crabby.

Well, since when is a 1st turn Spell Lock EVER not tough to deal with? Especially one at effectively no cost.

Also, in addition to Rescue Cat, Marauding + Pashuul. *shot*

That's two cards, neither of which are too especially great anymore.

Isn't this format running more traps than last one? If so, wouldn't it be more likely you get a trap or monster effect that can eliminate this and its Spell card lock? I know it's tough to deal with, but there are still many ways around it. 2200 ATK gets rid of one possible solution, though, I'll give it that.

That's where *shot* came from; it was a terrible suggestion.

Very true; but on the first turn, Traps are not an Option. I can set Trap Stun, activate Cold Wave, summon Barkion etc. to deal with Traps. That leaves Battle and Effect Monsters, and there are ways to deal with them as well.

This card has potential. The DT one is $50 right now but the release of the Hidden Arsenal one will probably drop the price down to 20-30, hopefully. However, if Sabers get nerfed by the next list and need more filler cards, this card could potentially see a price jump.

My suggestion is to buy as many as you're willing to invest in around the beginning of August when the price starts to stabilize and then sell them again in six weeks. You'll almost certainly make a decent profit.

Onto the actual card itself, milling two cards is hardly a cost. Naturia decks also cannot simply rely in Bambooshoot so this guy will be desirable for that as well. I'm a big fan of this card's art as well.

I'd say he's a solid 9-9.5/10. in terms of goodness, and in this meta he's not too cheesy.
