OnSlaUghT
Back in my days, beyblades were so popular, but so expensive, and the "real" beyblades everyone had was fake. Even the fakes got too expensive over time, and we had to make it out of a coke bottle cap, a nail and a piece of string.

Sixty
Although I hate to put it this way, back in school, Beyblades were the s***. Hell, my friend and I found a whole arena full of 'em a few months ago. He got his brothers and we had some epic beybladin'.
-Berserker-
Used to like it a lot. Like Yugioh, this thing is something you can have fun with in real life, not like those stupid b-daman or bakugan. When the anime was around here, people used to make theirs with little bottles and CD's. Others used actual tops. The fake beyblades are still being sold here, like .80 US$ each. I remember I had a lot of homemade desings, one made with a metal disc that was part of a fan, and when it touched a wall, sparks flied around. Another one was made with half a glue bottle and a part of that thing that hangs and spins on top of a baby cradle; Once I challenged a kid using this one against his beyblade. I defeated him easily and claimed his beyblade, but it was so damaged after that, that it broke before I even used it...
