and since it's manga only, i didn't really do the research on the material monsters. i kind of assumed that they would be decent at least. there's probably more support i'm unaware of, like the silly poltermization.

The materials are likely vanillas, since history has shown that yugioh comic writers are not talented enough to give each card a useful effect.

The materials are 1300 ATK level 3 vanilla and 1700 ATK level 4 vanilla. This is their only support.

Poltimerazation --> Brings out Dragonecro ---> Get out a Token ---> Synchro ----> Troll with Broken 3k beatstick and a broken, generic Synchro on Turn 1.
