Effect: Reveal 1 "Divine Dragon" monster in your hand. Send 2 Dragon-Type monsters from your hand or Deck to the Graveyard. Then, Normal Summon 1 "Divine Dragon" monster without Tributing in addition to your Normal Summon or Set.

 

Playbook: This card not only makes the Summoning of Excelion easier and less costly, but also works as an improved "Foolish Burial", whic has 2 uses:

You can obviously send copies of Excelion to the grave, OR send other Dragons to later Summon them with REDMD.

Personally, I would send 1 Excelion and another Dragon to get a 2500 ATK Excelion with this card's second effect.

 

Also, note that this card not only works with Excelion, with with Ragnarok and Aquabizarre as well. This was done to make this Spell less situational. However, it would be pointless to use this card on Aquabizarre because, being Sea Serpent, it shouldn't be run it in a Dragon Deck.

Lore: You can only activate this while you control a face-up Dragon-Type monster. Downgrade all Dragon-Type monsters on the field and in your hand by 1 Level. Once per turn, you can pay 500 Life Points and select 1 Dragon-Type monster in your hand, send 1 monster from your Deck to the Graveyard with same name as the selected card.

 

Cards that work well with this: Masked Dragon, Terraforming & Maybe even Giant Trunade to Re-use it in the same turn getting (Excelion) to his full abilities.

 

Possible uses with: Brionic, Dragon of the Ice Barrier.

Hm. Let's look into late-game options, and be the first to make a Trap Card.

 

 

Divine Invocation - Trap Card

Activate when there are 3 "Divine Dragon - Excelion" in your Graveyard. Special Summon 1 "Divine Dragon - Excelion" from your Graveyard and equip it with this card. When equipped with this card, all 3 effects of "Divine Dragon - Excelion" can be applied as this card's effect to the equipped monster. When the equipped monster would be removed from the field, you can remove 2 Dragon-type monsters in your Graveyard from play instead. When this card is destroyed, you can pay 1000 Life Points to add 1 "Divine Dragon - Excelion" from your Graveyard to your hand.

 

 

 

1. Equipped DDE doesn't die when this is destroyed, just loses all of its effects. (Tribute bait for the one coming back to your hand! 8D)

 

2. OCG was really wordy with the first part, I had to look at Power Capsule to figure out the "apply the effects as this effect" wording. Meh.

Well, it helps DD-E effect and as extra is usable with Dragon's Mirror by Fusion Summoning King Dragun. It can Special Summon DD-E by sending this and other DD-E to the Graveyard that making at least got 2 of it's effects. While face-up it can make DD-E a beatstick by giving the abbility of accumulate it's effect so it can have as a max 4 effects even if it repeats so you can make it a monster with 3500 that can ATK twice and when it destroys a monter inflicts damage :3
