Type: Beast

Lore: 1 "Fabled" Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters

While both players have the same number of cards in their hands, negate the activation of the effects of your opponent's Effect Monsters, Spell Cards, and Trap Cards, and destroy those cards.[/align]

Since it uses fableds, ditch hand and that procede to lol @ your opponent.

Also, LEVEL 4!!!ONE!!!1+SHIFT!!!!

Not-generic. Difficult to tech. Etc etc.

Well' date=' both Fableds and Infernity's like to ditch their hand, so maybe. Thats why its only real use is against Infernity's.

Infernities ditch their hand. Fableds, however, with the way they play, have relatively small hands.

That is to say, Fableds do not actually want to have an empty hand, they tend to have small or empty hands based on the way they work.

On the whole, Unicore makes your opponent very cautious about what they play rather than actually stop them.

My opponents turn. We have the same number of cards in hand. He sets a s/t.

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!

My turn: I get my hand to the same size as my opponents, then drop Unicore, their Bottomless, Compulse, Book, Gorz, Trago, Fader, Mirror, Prison and everything else is rubbish for a turn, then they might have to put cards they usually wouldn't on the field to get under Unicore next turn, causing them to misplay.

Unicore is good because it forces setting extra cards and can negate every card while you're attacking, not because it's a lockdown.

Why would your opponent have 6 cards in hand outside of the first or second turn?

Because a smart player only plays 1 - 2 cards per turn until they draw a winning hand. That and Fables dont really have the best hand advantage.

I'd love to analyze how the first few moves a duel play out, but...well, no, I wouldn't. Suffice to say, the 'T' formation would be the classic opening, meaning you have four cards in hand. Presumably your face-down is destroyed - unless it's Spy or Spirit Reaper or something - and so you either replace it with another defense, a higher ATK, and/or more facedowns. An aggressive hand is 2-3 cards, a conservative hand is 4-5. They're not that different.

Which basically means this card is completely useless. If it can't stop them, it doesn't help you. Your opponent will already be playing cautiously, because sloppy plays on no hand would cost them the game anyway.
