However there is 1 force able to stop any card. This terrible force we know as the BANLIST!(Dun dun dun0 The banlist added many broken cards. Even the gods. However some of them lived. Not On Topic: Judgment dragon isn't really broken anymore in the pro meta. The whole Lightsworn archetype is dying. The banlist exists primarily to take cards that should never have been printed and make it as if they never were printed; the Limits and Semi-Limits could largely have been solved with more intelligent design of those few individual cards, such as by having Night Assailant include a clause prohibiting it from fetching another Night Assailant. They're necessary on modern banlists only because the modern cardpool offers no proper alternatives; superior card design would produce non-problematic alternatives, allowing Heavy Storm and its ilk to be fully banned.
