Flame Dragon
Stardust should be Limited. That would adress so many problems about it, its support, and other forms of it.Should be permalimited. If BRD is permalimited just for being a field nuker, then Stardust should be permalimited for stopping many means of last hopes. How does limiting it fix it? Really, failnami logic for limiting things is to make them show up less, but with synchros it doesn't even do that. Synchros can come out as easily at 1 as they do at 3 so it does nothing to address the problem.
Great Unclean One: VK
Ban it. There's no other way. It stops a lot of cards, it constantly revives itself, and plus, it's easy to summon.
TechnoDoomedOne
With only 1 Stardust, you kill the problem. 1st.- Starlight Road makes you think wether you are going to bring him out and lose your opportunity to Summon him correctly, or waste him. If not enough, maybe you should look to the card that stops balanced mass destruction cards like Lightning Vortex or Torrential Tribute.2nd.- Two or more Stardust together usually means game. With one, it can no longer happen. Yes, with 0 too, but it's really that bad to have cards that stop other cards or kill ways of playing? Because things can only go 1 way and there cannot be nothing to stop them, right? Also, it encourages skill to deal with problems, and that's even more rewarding if said problems can only come once.3rd.- There is only one Stardust to deal with. Kill him, and he's gone for good. If you just play destruction cards in your deck to deal with cards, then you deserve to be punished by a card that just does its job. No good player should ever restrict all of his/her options to only 1 thing, but to get just a bit of everything just in case.4th.- The whole issue of 0 or 3 is just stupid. Most cards are done for or just become a one-shot problem if you just limit them, and one-shot problems should never mean trouble to you if you are a good player, so there's not reason to limit the card pool further by banning a lot of stuff. Also, 3-0 banlist just ignore that most cards are limited for a reason, and put them at 3 if they don't think they are a problem, like cards that cannot be destroyed by battle.5th.- Partially stops Stardust Assault Mode decks, which base their decks in a REALLY banworthy card that can just negate everything you play, no matter how hard you try to play around. Flame Dragon
1st.- Starlight Road makes you think wether you are going to bring him out and lose your opportunity to Summon him correctly, or waste him. If not enough, maybe you should look to the card that stops balanced mass destruction cards like Lightning Vortex or Torrential Tribute.Starlight still gives you a free Stardust. That problem doesn't get solved. Even with one use, it can still save you and allow you to gain that big an edge. Your not wasting him since he's still going to do his job, save your other cards. 2nd.- Two or more Stardust together usually means game. With one, it can no longer happen. Yes, with 0 too, but it's really that bad to have cards that stop other cards or kill ways of playing? Because things can only go 1 way and there cannot be nothing to stop them, right? Also, it encourages skill to deal with problems, and that's even more rewarding if said problems can only come once.Yes it is. As I've said, it totally prevents your oppoent from using the common form of removal meaning they loss almost all means of dealing with your plays. Your opponent shouldn't be forced to play around him. And even if it only comes once, once is all it needs to do damage. 3rd.- There is only one Stardust to deal with. Kill him, and he's gone for good. If you just play destruction cards in your deck to deal with cards, then you deserve to be punished by a card that just does its job. No good player should ever restrict all of his/her options to only 1 thing, but to get just a bit of everything just in case. But he isn't easy to kill. 2400 is a magic number and Stardust sits just above it making him hard to run over. And what other ways are their to remove a card from the field? You bounce or spin him, but he'll just come back so your only putting off the problem. Removing him would work, but I know some also destroy, Bottomless Trap Hole is a great example, meaning Stardust will just negate it and be back next turn. Also, even if he's kill, you can still use stuff to bring him back. Returning him to the extra via Avarice or special summon with Creator or if he's removed use DDR. Even if he's killed he can just come back. So he isn't gone for good. 4th.- The whole issue of 0 or 3 is just stupid. Most cards are done for or just become a one-shot problem if you just limit them, and one-shot problems should never mean trouble to you if you are a good player, so there's not reason to limit the card pool further by banning a lot of stuff. Also, 3-0 banlist just ignore that most cards are limited for a reason, and put them at 3 if they don't think they are a problem, like cards that cannot be destroyed by battle. When a card is limited you allow the game to become more luck dependent meaning who ever pulls it first giving them a huge advantage. And even if it's a one-shot problem by the time their gone they've given the user a major lead over the opponent and have done their job, so one-shot is all you need. And how does being a good player make a difference. If a broken card drops and you don't have a response to it at that moment your going to take a major hit and a single card shouldn't do that much damage. Yes, most cards are limit for a reason. However most of them should be banned. Most of the ones that shouldn't are either their for another cards (Overload Fusion/Bestiari/etc) or have something that keep from them going to 0/3 (Night Assailant). Only a handful are their because they should (Mirror Force/Spirit Reaper). And yes, just because it's called a 3/0 list doesn't mean every card is 3 or 0, if their is reason for it to go to 1, it will. 5th.- Partially stops Stardust Assault Mode decks, which base their decks in a REALLY banworthy card that can just negate everything you play, no matter how hard you try to play around.Even with 1 Stardust Assault would still be a problem, cause again it's easy to reuse Stardust and it's easy to get him out. And even if you can't reuse him, 1 Assault gets the job done.
TechnoDoomedOne
I have never, ever lost to Stardust. So if I, a not that good player can with him, I don't think it is that difficult to play around. Also, you need to Synchro again to summon Stardust back if it is returned to the Extra Deck, and very rarely does The Creator see play, and I think he deserves to bring Stardust back as generic revival is very scarce. Or DAD? Just because it doesn't make you loss/win doesn't mean it can't. And you need to remember your basing it on your experience in this meta and their are many other variables (such a DAD/Goyo/Brain) running around and they alter the results. Based only one what it does, a card that shuts the games main way of dealing with your opponents moves and allows for mindless overextension, it is not good for the game. Synchroing is laughably easy, even in a good meta, so just sending/returning it to the extra deck will only result in it quickly coming back. I know Creator doesn't see a lot of play, but the point remains that he isn't hard to reuse.

Take for instance, Mystic Tomato. Chances of that being a finishing blow are low, but it could do a lot to the game.

metalflygon08
Ban it and make a Baby version with the effect 'This Card's Name is treated as 'Stardust Dragon' while on the field in your hand, and in the graveyard'

TechnoDoomedOne
Assault Mode + 1 or more Stardust in play = You lose Which is pretty much easy to achieve with Flamvells. Also, I do not play D.D. Crow, but I play 3 Books of Life, that also remove from play, and I have still yet to win a single duel against an Assault Mode Deck without having to main a Trap Stun or Royal Opression. Mr. Judgment Dragon
Stardust is very good. I Beat a Glad deck with him. but then it was kinda a draw. Stardust ruins Glads. Stardust is banworthy. A recurring super My Body as a Shield with legs and 2500 ATK is certainly not good for the game.

If not enough, maybe you should look to the card that stops balanced mass destruction cards like Lightning Vortex or Torrential Tribute. If it concerns you, you don't HAVE to summon the Stardust... The main thing that keeps Stardust so "broken" is that it is EASILY counter'd but not too many people maindeck the cards that do it
