Discuss the King of Worms

Recommended Posts

Worm King is pretty nice, provided you can abuse it properly. the fact that by itself is not quite useless(as it can tribute itself to destroy something, being something of a one for one removal by itself), and can use worms that have outlived their usefulness/remain as walls(like Rakuyeh or Solid) makes it pretty decent.

the guy above me does bring up a more powerful card, though: Worm Victory can be a great field clearance and you can re-abuse it with BoM or similar cards, and if you play it right, you can mill enough worms to have OVER 9000(lolforcedmeme) ATK.

it's a good, decent card....in a scene where decent is useless. T_T

OT: Well it's decent, but Victory and Zero are THE powerhouses for Worms!

Zero? it's not so much a beatstick as it is an utility monster for the deck, along with being an excellent deck thinner, setting up a play with queen or king using Viper Rebirth and the like. it's unlikely that Worm Zero will come out in the duel, but if it does it wrecks face, using its three effects to great extent:

*getting a Reptile from the grave is useful, reviving any worm you might've used for other effects like Offering to the Snake Deity or Worm King.

*a technically limitless monster removal that goes around stuff like Stardust or MBaaS and the like. you could even tech Return from the Different Dimension if you're that desperate, or if you use Evil Dragon Ananta.

*an extra draw's always helpful, speeding the deck a little bit.

so....yeah, Victory's more of a damage dealer, while Zero's the advantage generator. like Worm King, though, Worm Zero's also just decent, along with the archetype....in a meta where decent is the new useless. <_<
