I could duel with anything. I would love to duel YCMers because it would be a fun experience to learn how people in RC and what they like to duel with in the TCG.

That would require a Program of some sort, we do not RP duels.

i will buy abooster box now and then to keep up with things and i still make sets and decks with certain archtypes. I recently finished a custom deck that took me forever to finish. I actually duel against myself sometimes lol. the last time i actually dueled with someone......wow an unoffical tourny about 2 years ago.........

Today I duelled a few times against my friend and I never lost. My bugs rock socks, some are proxy cards (pretty much a card upside down in a sleeve with a piece of paper in it to represent a card I don't yet have.) which is a little odd but I still feel epic as all hell kicking so much ass with a deck no one uses.

That's set up terribly. All duels should be over YVD, really, maybe DMG if you don't care for customs. You shouldn't be making duels over the forum, it ruins the aspect of chance by people being able to stack.

It's been at least six years for me and I'd be willing to play again, but the game has gotten so complicated since those days. They've gone and done the one thing I was hoping they wouldn't do. They've released a whole bunch of new types of cards to try and get the game interesting again, when all they need to do is add new mechanics to old cards. They also went and made a banned and restricted list that's a mile long because no one checked the cards for breakage qualities before they printed them and now they have to go back and retcon the whole game just to make it playable. My own deck is a perfect example of that. It takes advantage of four cards to make itself an OTK. Black Magician of Chaos, Dimension Fusion, Spell Economics, and any monster that you can sacrifice to in order to damage (ie - cannon soldier).

I used to run several decks because deckbuilding was always my favorite part. I had a Bakura tribute deck that I almost never played because it sucked, but Bakura was my favorite character so yeah. I had a Black magician deck, a dragon beatdown deck, my Black magician of chaos OTK deck, and a deck I never finished because back then the cards just weren't there for it, but it was based on Pyro monsters. I've made a few cards to make that deck worthwhile in the customizer, but I never finished it for real.

I don't know what would make me play again, but I don't think I'll ever play much again. Oh well, I used to play MtG too until they messed it up with new card types and... hey, wait, this sounds familiar...

Last physical duel would have been 4-5 years ago.

I stopped around about the time the banned list came out which had my 2 favourite cards at the top of, Chaos Black Luster Soldier and Chaos Emporer Dragon. And everyone else (literally everyone else) was using Legendary Ocean decks which was boring.

Would be interested on dueling online in any sort of system, but would still prefer face to face dueling.

Oh man, I don't even remember when I last dueled. My decks at the time were real oddballs, something that's been consistent through all the times I played. I had two in specific. One was a mill deck, which I've always had a fascination with. Every single card in the deck did one of three things: Mill, Stall, or Both. I used a bunch of cards nobody in their right minds would play, like Hiro's Shadow Scout, Dragged Down Into The Grave, and that one level 1 light monster who ends the Battle Phase when destroyed by battle.

The other one was even more oddball. It was a Water Aggro that revolved around Lekunga and Catapult Turtle. Swarm with water types, tribute for Catapult, use to fuel Lekunga and summon Lekunga tokens, attack and tribute tokens. Almost every card in the deck was weird or laughable in any other situation. Yomi Ship, Hydrogeddon, B.E.S. Crystal Core, Reasoning, [i]Revival Jam[/i] even, alongside more reasonable choices like Mother Grizzly, Treeborn Frog, Dimension Fusion, Creature Swap, Brain Control, and Return From the Different Dimension. It had Scapegoat, Swords of Revealing Light, and Waboku to cover my rear when I got dead draws or simply failed to finish the opponent. Man, I had fun with that one.

I don't think I'll ever touch the game again, sadly. I have more fun scheming up cards then actually playing.

A sprite based game like Duel Monsters Genesis (download required)?No downloads unless it was compatible with Lenux, Which YVD is not and i'm not about to go through the trouble of downloading a visual box or whatever so i can use YVD cause TBO that will just lag my slow computer even more
A Browser Based Game like Yugioh Network?Yes no downloads :D , YN's only big problem is the lagging and if that got fixed it would be fine.
Would it need Customs? Yes but have a Ban Restricted list with a feature to reject that list when hosting

As for the last time i dueled. I'm not sure but it was at least over a year ago in RL that is. As of late i'v been using YN aside from the lag its fun, I run Morphs, D.D. Synchro(my main),Frog OTK just for fun, Exodia again just for fun, Will be testing Fabled World, and finally just for the LOLZ an E.I. Deck

NOT happening. Basically it's saying "lets run an 80 card deck with 67 Pot of Greeds, 5 Exodia Pieces and whatever else; Intelligence not required". o_O

what i meant was to have Traditional Duels, like the feature that YN now has, not what you just posted.....

In all honesty, if we decide to do this (no idea what the plan of the person who I posted this for plan is); I don't see a Traditional List very applicable if we have Customs. Maybe a relaxed list, or an alternative one.
