Deck min is 40 in most cases so you should add 20 more cards.

It is.

IMO 22-24 is better depending on the deck. For example in a deck with most cards costing 3 or less, using 22 lands isn't bad, but even at that number I've still gotten mana screwed.

Angel's Feather and their entire cycle (with possible exception of Dragon's Claw) are entirely worthless in any real sense. 2 mana for something that doesn't do anything by itself? No thank you. At least Soul Warden and her ilk are creatures.

That being said, we're a little less than a month away from a new set coming out, and when that happens the entire metagame will change. You can get back into Magic right now, if you want, but it might be better if you wait until Scars hits.

Being a casual player, I'd laugh so hard if Affinity came back; half the community would rage, half would love it, everyone would run it... again. But to be honest, it's a boring mechanic.
