I liked how the first versions didn't include the "this card cannot be Special Summoned from your Graveyard" part.


The Fusion Materials themselves don't do anything except protect from destruction by battle, and give a little extra lolATK to specific monsters. That said. It wouldn't hurt their balance if they got some good support or even new fusions. Or upgraded versions of them (like what they did with BLS and DMoC, except not that extreme)

X - Head Cannon
LIGHT Level 4 1800/1500 Machine/Union
Once per turn, you can equip this card to a Machine-Type Union monster with different ATK OR Special Summon it in Attack Position. While equipped to a monster by this effect, that monster gains 800 ATK. If the equipped monster is removed from the field, except when destroyed, Special Summon this card instead of sending it to the Graveyard. (A monster can only be equipped with 1 Union Monster at a time. If the equipped monster would be destroyed, destroy this card instead.)

Y - Dragon Head
LIGHT Level 4 1500/1600 Machine/Union
Once per turn, you can equip this card to a Machine-Type Union monster with different ATK OR Special Summon it in Attack Position. While equipped to a monster by this effect, that monster gains 400 ATK. When the equipped monster attacks a Defense Position monster, return that monster to the Deck before Damage Calculation. (A monster can only be equipped with 1 Union Monster at a time. If the equipped monster would be destroyed, destroy this card instead.)

Z - Metal Tank
LIGHT Level 4 1400/1700 Machine/Union
Once per turn, you can equip this card to a Machine-Type Union monster with different ATK OR Special Summon it in Attack Position. While equipped to a monster by this effect, that monster gains 600 ATK. Also, your opponent cannot activate Trap Cards during the Battle Phase. (A monster can only be equipped with 1 Union Monster at a time. If the equipped monster would be destroyed, destroy this card instead.)

"X-Head Cannon" + "Y-Dragon Head"
This card can only be Special Summoned by removing from play the above cards from your hand or your side of the field when at least 1 is on the field (Do not use "Polymerization".) This card can be treated as any of its Fusion Material Monster(s). While the above cards are removed from play, this card gains their effects. You can discard 1 card to destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card on the field. When this card is removed from your side of the field, you can remove it from play.

XZ - Tank Cannon
LIGHT Level 6 2400/2100 Machine/Fusion/Union
"X-Head Cannon" + "Z-Metal Tank"
This card can only be Special Summoned by removing from play the above cards from your hand or your side of the field when at least 1 is on the field (Do not use "Polymerization".) This card can be treated as any of its Fusion Material Monster(s). While the above cards are removed from play, this card gains their effects. Once per turn, you can discard 1 card to sent 1 face-up monster your opponent controls to the Graveyard. When this card is removed from your side of the field, you can remove it from play.

YZ - Tank Dragon
LIGHT Level 6 2500/2000 Machine/Fusion/Union
"Y-Dragon Head" + "Z-Metal Tank"
This card can only be Special Summoned by removing from play the above cards from your hand or your side of the field when at least 1 is on the field (Do not use "Polymerization".) This card can be treated as any of its Fusion Material Monster(s). While the above cards are removed from play, this card gains their effects. Once per turn, you can discard 1 card from both player's hands. When this card is removed from your side of the field, you can remove it from play.

"X-Head Cannon" + "Y-Dragon Head" + "Z-Metal Tank"
This card can only be Special Summoned by removing from play the above cards from your hand or your side of the field when at least 1 is on the field (Do not use "Polymerization".) This card can be treated as any of its Fusion Material Monster(s). While the above cards or other Fusion Monsters with any of the above materials are removed from play, this card gains their effects.
