Now, I have decided to put my ideas into action! While you young trainers wander about, hoping to become Pokemon Masters, treasures and trouble await you at every corner! Enter the Cygrus Region and you will never feel the same again! (Sorry for the corniness ) The newly discovered Cygrus Region has recently been selected to become the home of the Evraflow Conference, the annual Pokemon League Tournament. Since then, many young trainers have left home in order to explore the region, encountering many new and exciting experiences. However, while trainers compete for the 8 necessary badges, the evil team of thugs, Team Nebulus have infiltrated the region in search of the Legendary Pokemon Dialga and Palkia, while the evil Team Draconius search for the Legendary Pokemon Groudon and Kyogre. Whether they capture these mighty beasts is in the hands of the trainers. Trainers start of at Greenvine Town, where they continue off in the hopes of getting to Evraflow City, where the Pokemon League is taking place. Greenvine Town The starting town for most trainers from this region. It is a beautiful village, decorated with foliage of all different kinds. Also the home to Greenvine Hill, a small cave where the first wild Pokemon live. 2. Gradnis Forest The forest separating Greenvine Town and Gradnis Village. Inside lurks Bug and Grass-type Pokemon everywhere! Many people from Gradnis Village come here to train. 3. Gradnis Village A small village (even smaller than Greenvine Town), which is the home to the first Gym in the region. The leader here uses Grass-Type Pokemon. 4. Alluvium Desert + Terramean City This subterranean desert is home to the Sand Citadel, which many trainers visit for the chance of finding rare Ground-type Pokemon. Also, along the coast lies Terramean City, which is home to the 2nd Gym Leader, specializing in Rock and Ground Types. 5. Levia Bridge This bridge connects Terramean City to Flamvius Town, a town built atop of a crater. This bridge also has a high-tech tunnel which acts as the region's main Cycling Road 6. Flamvius Town Flamvius Town is another coastal city, though it is built atop a crater. The 3rd Gym Leader resides here, who trains at Mount Cryptus. 7. Magma Forest This is an extremely dangerous forest. Many forest fire in Cygrus have started here, due to it being close to an active volcano, as well as the monthly ember showers. However, many trainers come here to test their endurance and stamina. 8. Barren Colosseum These are ruins of a giant battle arena. It still makes good battle use, but it is run down and dilapidated. The resting place of Dialga. 9. Lavralyn Volcano An active volcano. Unknown to many people, Groudon resides here. 10. Graklus Isle A small, dark island northeast of Greenvine Town. Home of the 4th Gym Leader, who specializes in Dark-Types. 11. Rockius Mountainside A small city built in the shadow of mountains. They are known for their wonderful Spring Water, which turns out to be their signature item. Many trainers from around the region come here just for a taste of it. This is where the Rockside Hotel lies. Also the home for the 5th Gym Leader. 12. Woodra Peninsula A sandy isle which acts as a "transition" area for trainers between Rockius Mountainside and Hauntra Town. 13. Immortafreeze City A frigid town - at least 5 times as cold as Snowpoint City. Home of the 6th Gym Leader. 14. Frigid Fields + Mount Aquamarine North of Immortafreeze City, Frigid Fields is the home to many rare Ice-Type Pokemon. North to Frigid Fields lies Mount Aquamarine, the home of Kyogre. 15. Gloomy Shades + Gloomdelta Town Though appearing to be a forest, Gloomy Shades is actually a layer of thick, Green clouds, covering the sky. These clouds conceal Gloomdelta Town, home of the 7th Gym Leader. 16. Spacial Ruins A dilapidated area with a single sign: Seaside Hotel. However, no hotel can be seen for miles. On first glance, it seems like a misplaced crater, but in reality, it is the resting place of Palkia. 17. Hauntra Town An almost ghostly city. Though many people live here, including the 8th Gym Leader who specializes in Ghost-Types, there have been rumors that this city is haunted... 18. Evraflow City Home of the famed Evraflow Conference, the Pokemon League Tournament of the Cygrus Region. Getting here is the pinnacle of a trainer's dreams! 19. NOT SHOWN: Everascending Spiral Rayquaza's resting place. Nothing is known about it... 20. NOT SHOWN: Evraflow Forest Celebi's Home; Only appears one day in every century MORE TO COME!!! [/spoiler] [spoiler=Rules] Standard RP Rules. I will make the shortposting rule at least 2 and a half lines per post, to keep this RP running. No Legendary Pokemon can be caught or owned until AFTER the Pokemon League Tournament. Even then, only 2nd Tier Legendaries can be caught. Each trainer starts off with only 1 starter Pokemon (except for Gym Leaders and Elite 4), unless you have a non-Legendary/non-Pseudo Legendary Pokemon you would like to start with. [/spoiler] [spoiler=Additional Battle Guidelines (VERY IMPORTANT!)] • Be fair about the damage you and your opponent's Pokemon do to each other. When they should do damage to you, let that happen. We are not here to win every battle we encounter. • It's alright to lose; In fact, everyone should lose at regular intervals (except Elite 4 members, and Team Leaders) • Understand the difference in power and level between the higher-up members (Elite 4, Champion, Team Draconius/Nebulus Leaders). to everyone else. Remember to illustrate this difference. It is illogical for a normal trainer with a Mudkip to be able to defeat an Elite 4 member. Keep this in mind. • Do not simply call "Dodge" every chance you get. If your Pokemon cannot logically dodge an attack (such as Psychic, which just controls the movements of an opponent's body), do not call "dodge" and expect it to happen. • Be a good judge to you and your opponent. If one side launches an attack that would inflict damage, do not try desperately to prevent it • Be a good sport. If you have won every battle you have faced, and you meet a trainer, perhaps you can let them win • To keep the battles running smoothly, I suggest the two opponents contact each other via PM to to work things out BEFORE the battle ends. • Before you call an attack combination, visualize the attack in your head. Then, express your thoughts on the combination AS DETAILED AS YOU CAN on the RP post, and make sure your opponents can understand what happens. • Do not attempt to pull off an illogical combination. Combinations should only be made from 2 attacks. Occasionally, you can add a 3rd attack to increase the effect, but only 2 attacks are allowed per combination. Think about it, could a Pokemon really launch 3 attacks at once? No. • You must declare and describe each attack clearly and accurately. Don't just say "Oh, but I used this attack earlier, and therefore its effect happens now. • Make sure your posts make sense. For example, a cloned Pokemon from Double Team cannot attack. Therefore, if a Double Teamed Pokemon attacks, and the defending Pokemon strikes it before it is able to launch its attack, do not just say "But you just hit a clone". This is unfair and cheap. The only exception to this rule is Substitute, which automatically replaces itself with the original when it is attacked (but don't forget its cost: 1/4 of your base HP) • Also, trainers who have competed in leagues before are naturally going to be stronger than trainers who start out in Cygrus. (For example, Caden, Atrus, and Ashmin have all competed in Pokemon Leagues in other regions before, making them naturally stronger than those who start out) • To prove you have read these guidelines, post the words "I understand everything stated above" in turqoise-colored font. Since then, Amanda's been a very dedicated student, always taking the best scores in her classes. When she got older, she decided to also apply her skills into Pokemon Beauty Contests, training her pokemon not only to battle but to also make amazing appeals. Once she graduated, she received a proposition to keep her studies in Cygrus Region, under the tutelage of a almost-retiring member of the Elite 4. After arriving at Cygrus, she started a rigorous training under the supervision of her teacher, improving her skills as a pokemon trainer to the best she could. Once the old man retired, he appoited Amanda as his substitute, thing that the other members didn't oppose. Since then, she has been a part of the Elite 4, accepting challenges in or out of the League if the trainers are worthy of it. Personality:Polite and outgoing. Amanda enjoys helping other pokemon trainer in and out of battles, giving tips on how to improve the pokemon's attacks or looks. Vaten also keeps a Glaceon that he evolved back in Sinnoh along with Candice. Personality:Quiet, calm and strong. He values each of his pokemon and even some say he loves them more than humans. His clothing usually consists of a white T-shirt and khaki coloured slacks. Biography: Growing up with his little brother, Caden, Nathan had to learn to survive on his own from a very early age. First it was when their Father left and their Mother lay ill in Sootopolis City. Then, when their Mother passed, on the streets of the metropolis of Sunyshore. Both brothers quickly became accomplished trainers. Nathan encouraged Caden to be competitive with him about whom was superior. This kept them in top form and allowed them to protect each other. Eventually, while he was on a visit to Sunyshore, Professor Rowan spotted the brothers in a heated battle and noticed their potential. He offered them Pokedexes on the spot and a chance for a real life. While Caden embraced this and quickly rose through the trainer ranks, Nathan was far more reserved now his brother no longer needed him. He still collected all eight badges and entered the Sinnoh Conference but it felt laborious and almost not worth it. Something was missing. He travelled to the mysterious Cygrus region where he met a young man named Sorano, a student of one of the gyms. The pair quickly became fast friends and when Sorano told the story of Team Nebulus and Draconius, Nathan was intrigued. He decided to say and train to stop these teams. He would be doing some good in the world and maybe, just maybe would get to meet some Legendary Pokemon as well. Personality: Responsibility always sat heavy on Nathan's shoulders making him difficult company for many people apart from his Pokemon. Ever since Caden's and his Father left, and their Mother tragically passed away, he has felt obligated to stop all wrong-doing that he sees. Often ignoring his better judgment in the process. Trainer Type: Normal Trainer Pokemon: Umbreon, Steelix, Staraptor [/spoiler] [spoiler=Queen-Dragoon - Kier] Username: Queen-Dragoon RP Name: Kier Russo Age: 12 Hometown: Terramean City Appearance: He is a short, skinny boy with a weedy build and glasses. His long black, hair covers most of his face, but not enough to wipe the constant smile off his face. He is a fan of light colours so he is usually seen wearing a white T-shirt and light blue jeans when he travels. His bag is a light rucksack with the design of an orange Pokeball on the back. Biography: Kier grew up in Terramean city alongside a family of poor, albeit respected Pokemon breeders. His thirst for knowledge and his love for Pokemon were both apparent from a very early age. At the age of three his mother found him attempting to nurse an injured, baby Mareep back to health. She immediately took him under her wing and taught him everything she knew. At the age of ten, Kier wandered a bit too close to the Sand Citadel. He was caught in a collection of Trapinch sand traps until a brave and powerful young Beldum levitated in and pulled him out. Ever since then, he learned to treat the Sand Citadel with respect, and he and the young Beldum have become inseparable companions. A year later and business has been good to Kier's family, so his Mother suggested he begin his Pokemon journey. Our story begins with his journey to Gradnis Village. Personality: Interacting with so many different people in his youth has allowed him to become a socially apt young man. Despite his size, he has never shied away from anythin, challenging or otherwise. He finds joy in battling alongside Pokemon and has an unceasing thirst for knowledge, unlike his Mother who takes far more pride in being an accomplished and well known breeder. Trainer Type: Normal Trainer Starter Pokemon: Beldum [/spoiler] [spoiler=Queen-Dragoon - Sorano] Username: Queen-Dragoon RP Name: Sorano Age: 29 Hometown: Graklus Isle Appearance: Sorano is relatively tall at just under 6'0'', with bronze curly hair and a ruggedly attractive face. Although not muscly, his body is toned and defined through rigorous training with his Pokemon. His attire is usually dark, like his favourite attribute. He always wears a long, black coat on long journeys. Biography: Sorano grew up on Graklus Isle with his Mother, brother and sister. Their Father left when Sorano was nineteen, leaving the entire family devastated. Sorano was the one who had to pick up the shattered pieces of their lives and the only one he could confide in was his trusty Absol. On his twenty-first birthday he joined as an apprentice at the Graklus Isle gym and rose quickly through the trainer ranks. Within five years he was second in command to his gym leader predecessor; an unheard of achievement. He continued in this fashion for another three years until the gym leader retired and he took over. Now he has re-fashioned the gym to truly test the commitment of trainers. They do not face off in a series of battles, but instead against a makeshift hostile environment controlled by Sorano's subordinates. The Pokemon all attack on sight so trainers must be on their guard through the darkness. We begin with Sorano training on top of the mountain in the centre of the island. Personality: Sorano has always had an aversion to most company. He is very picky when it comes to friends although he appears relatively easy to get along with. That being said, he is pleasant once you get to know him and he has managed to accept you. Trainer Type: Fourth Gym Leader Starter Pokemon: Absol Team: Spiritomb Tyranitar Cacturne [/spoiler] [spoiler=Legendary Reploid Zero - Shubura] Username: L. R. Zero RP Name: Shubura Glory Age: 19 Hometown: Flamvius Town Appearance: Dark red hair, wears white shirt, and blue jeans. Biography: Shubura is was born and raised in Flamvius Town, where he trained as a Fire-type trainer. He eventually followed in his brother's footsteps and became the Gym Leader of Flamvius Town. Now, he patiently awaits trainers who believe they can match his skill. Every now and then, he travels to the Volcano to search for Tre pokèmon. Personality: He's a little hot headed, but tends to keep calm. He quickly thinks things through, and has lightning fast reflexes. Trainer Type: Gym Leader Gym Leader/Elite 4: #3 Team: Quilava Rhyperior Starter Pokemon: Quilava [/spoiler] [spoiler=Legendary Reploid Zero - Atrus] Username: L. R. Zero RP Name: Atrus Cyan Age: 14 Hometown: Seafoam Islands Appearance: Wears a red jacket, wears blue jeans, a dark red shirt, and has brown hair. Biography: Atrus is a young trainer who grew up in Seafoam Islands as a Pokemon breeder. He eventually found the secret of Seafoam Islands, and saw the legendary bird Articuno. He and a newly born Pichu quickly became friends, and Pichu trained with Atrus until it evolved into Pikachu. Atrus then went to travel through the regions, first going to an outside region to test his skills. Personality: He remains calm in most situations, and stands up for himself. Trainer Type: Normal Trainer Starter Pokemon: Pikachu [/spoiler] [spoiler=Legendary Reploid Zero - Zura] Username: L. R. Zero RP Name: Zura Glory Age: 23 Hometown: Flamvius Town Appearance: Wears a Dark Green Jacket, blue jeans, White shirt, has red hair. Biography: Zura grew up in Flamvius Town, and left to challange the Elite Four after his brother, Shubura, turned ten. He became the third member of the Elite Four nearly two years later, and has been waiting for his brother ever since. He will normally visit his hometown every two weeks to check in with his family, and search the Volcano with his brother. Personality: He avoids fights if he can, but when he does, he fights with amazing skill. He tends to drift off from time to time, making it hard for him to stay awake, hence why he is usually found sleeping in his room at the Elite Four. Trainer Type: Elite Four Gym Leader/Elite 4: #3 Team: Typhlosion Magmortar Charizard Grovyle - Shiny Starter Pokemon: Typhlosion [/spoiler] [spoiler=Legendary Reploid Zero - Shibi] Username: L. R. Zero RP Name: Shibi Torarian Age: 17 Hometown: Eterna City (Sinnoh) Appearance: He has dark brown hair, dark blue-black jeans, a dark green shirt, and a brown jacket. Wears a charm around his neck, which contains a small Gracedia Flower. Biography: Shibi grew up in Eterna City as an assistant for the Gym Leader, Gardenia. Shibi looked up to Gardenia, and her love for nature, and Shibi decided to go find a place for himself, where he could watch over any place where nature was unprotected. He left Eterna City at the age of 14. Before Shibi left, Gardenia gave him a Gracedia Flower, and a Treecko to remember her by. Shibi then left for the Cygrus Region, and traveled for 2 years, until he came to the Cygrus Gym. He defeated the old gym leader there, and after a discussion, he took over as Gym Leader, allowing the old Gym Leader to spend the remainder of his life in peace. He then stayed there for a year, traveling once every month to visit his old friend Gardenia, and the old Gym Leader. Personality: He has a love of nature, and fights to protect it. He is rarely found without Trainer Type: Gym Leader Gym Leader/Elite 4: Team: Treecko Leafeon Bulbasar Starter Pokemon: Trecko [/spoiler] [spoiler=Legendary Reploid Zero - Zura #2] Username: L. R. Zero RP Name: Zura Trancella Age: 27 Hometown: Goldenrod City (Johto) Appearance: He wears a dark blue uniform, which has small edges on the shoulders. He has bright white hair. Biography: Zura Trancella was a long time friend of Zura Glory, and first met him when he moved from Johto to Cygrus. Zura wanted to start his life over, as he had made many mistakes throughout his life. When he was 14, he was part of a duo alongside Alex's father, Joseph. They challenged Gyms and entered the Pokemon League Championship where they faced off in the final round. The battle ended with a victory for Joseph, who forfeited when Virgil only had Glaceon left while he still had three Pokemon, all with an advantage over Glaceon. He didn't want his friend to lose, so he let him face off against the Champion, who was retiring the following year. Virgil's entire team was swept by the Champion, and he went back home to find the Gym abandoned. He began to rebuild it with Joseph's help and he eventually got back to prime condition. He has semi-long brown hair till his shoulders and clear green eyes. Since he came from Blacktorn, during his battles he tends to use a cape to make a bigger impact. Biography: Giorgio started his journey as a pokemon trainer when he was 10. His first pokemon, a Dratini, was given by his dead on the night previous to his journey. During a couple of years, Giorgio traveled and battled gym leaders, only to raise his ranks and go to the Pokemon League. There, he managed to beat the Elite 4 but lost against the reigning Champion. Even after his lost, Giorgio never lost his passion to train and learn about other types of pokemons. It was due to that, that Giorgio travelled to Cygrus region. There, he decided to compete for the Pokemon League as well. Since his reputation from being the runner-up from Johto's League was wordwide, Giorgio instead of competing for the League, received a proposition to become a part of the Cygrus Elite 4, proposition tha Giorgio quickly accepted till the current days. (I might explore his story a bit more, but I'm currently lacking original ideas lol) Personality: Decided and friendly. Giorgio isn't a trainer that enjoys talking about himself that much, but if someone needs help or advice, he can gladly give any help or support if a trainer needs. His parent's house became haunted as the ghosts finally had a human they could talk to and play with. As Enzo got older, he became more in touch with the great beyond and tells the tales of those who have passed to the citizens of the Town of Hauntra. Biography:Maximillion started Team Nebulus at the Age of 25. But when he was younger he lived a happy Life in Greenvine town. He then discovered books from his dad's secret library. It told of the Pokemon of Space and Time and what it can bring. Hid father died of lung cancer two years prior and Maximillion wanted to use the power of Dialga to send him back in time so he could stop his father from smoking which gave him the lung cancer, but another band of thieves broke in and stole the information and lit the house on fire, all a year later. Maximillion nearly escaped death but it left a mark, his entire face was horribly disformed. His mother had died in the fire as well. He lived as an orphan with just his pokemon to rely on, he wants now to use Dialga and Palkia for, much more different purposes as he grew up with a sick sense of what is right for the world. The coat covors most of his lower head, such as chin, mouth, and nose. Biography: Born and raised in Pacificlodge, he was always a happy, vocal, carefree person. He found his Kingdra at an early age, training it and evolving it into its current form. His life got turned around when he almost drowned when getting knocked out by unknown means. If it wasn't for Kingdra, he would've died. After that traumatic experience, he hardly spook, only doing so when he needs to. He keeps to his self, not trying to make friends. After being told to go find Pro. Birch, he set off to Littleroot Town.( which was actually bad since he no pokemon with him.) After being attacked and whacked around by all the pokemon, he makes it to the Desert Ruins and gets lost in a sandstorm. In the middle of the sandstorm a baltoy attacked him. when all hope seemed lost, A Larvitar came out and Knocked Out the Baltoy. Then Caullen fainted. After Waking up, he noticed that the Larvitar had dragged him out of the sandstorm and into a cave. When the sandstorm subsided, Caullen graciously gave the Larvitar food and left but the Larvitar just followed him. After making it to Mauville City he finally noticed the Larvitar following him. After much thought and questioning himself, he decided to catch the Larvitar. Now Caullen Travels with the Larvitar, now a Tyranitar along with a team of strong willed pokemon. His eyes are a dull blue, which makes them almost a Pale White. His skin is almost pure white, and his eyes also have bags around them. He wears his hair hanging down over his left eye. His hair is Dark Brown, basically being pure black. He often wears a Black Leather jacket, with dog chains hanging down from his neck, they're shiny bright silver attached to a gold chain. He wears a under shirt, which is revealed by his un zipped jacket, which reveals A blank red T-Shirt. He wears dark blue pants, they have rips at the knees, and behind the shin. He wears black army type boots, which have A chain hanging from the top of his right boot. He wears his Pokebelt around his waistline. Biography: Isaiah grew up in the town of Hauntra which is a very lone and cold place. At the age of 5 he was left near the town by the edge of the ever expanding forest line. A man found him by the name of Professor Irius. He took Isaiah in, and gave him his name as well. His father was known well for his research on Ghost Pokemon, that inhabited the nearby forest Isaiah was festinated by them. Around the age of Five Isaiah, started noticing all of the Gym Leaders coming to challenge his Hometown one. With this advantage he seen lots of Exotic, and rare Pokemon from the coming trainers. At the age of 8 he was the kid that kept a high spirit, regardless of his appearance. When he hit the age of 10 he decided he was old enough to go wander into the forest, but he didn't know how far in he should go. He walked into the forest quite a way in, and it was starting to get dark out. He was tariffed of the thought of being lost in the woods alone by him self. He knew wandering in the woods would get him in trouble so he decided to wait till morning. On his long night about half way through he woke up to the hairs of his neck standing up. He shot up right, and noticed in the pure blackness two red eyes beaming at him. A figure emerged from the forest, it was a [b][color=purple]Gastly[/color][/b], he was more interested than terrified. It never bothered him it just watched him after staring at it for about 10 minutes, he went back to sleep hoping it would be gone in the morning. He awoke to it still floating there, he started on his way home, but it followed him back. His father noticed the Pokemon that was following him, and give Isaiah a Pokeball to catch the Gastly with, so he did catch it the Gastly went in willingly. His father designed him 6 Special Pokeballs, with no added catch rate the same as a Normal Pokeball, just with the design of a Erie wood scenery scrawled over the Pokeball. Once he hit 14 it was time to leave his Hometown, and set off on his own adventure he said bye to his Father, and left and started his journey. Personality: Despite his appearance he has a very High Spirited attitude, and acts Cheerful most of the time. Biography: Ashmin has been into to Pokemon her entire life, being the daughter of a pokemon doctor, she got to feed and nuture the injured Pokemon, and some even decided to stay in her backyard, where she promised to come out to play every day. Once, she actually fell out of a tree trying to reach a sentret who climbed up and couldn't get down. Luckily fo her, the Pokemon that lived in her backyard managed to break her fall, and she has been greatful to them ever since. After she beat the Elite Four, she decided only to bring a few Pokemon with her to the next region, which broke some Pokemon's hearts. But she still found time to bring them out and have a good battle against someone. Now, she is coming to the Cygrus Region for another new adventure, but this time, only one Pokemon, her Quilava, got to come with her. Personality: She is determined and never gives up no matter how much pains shes taken. But in Pokemon battles, she knows when to stop and admit defeat. She is kind and caring, and can befriend lots of people. When he was 12, Goivanni took him in as a member of Team Rocket, where Leonard would get around his plans. Soon, Scott moved to Cygrus, where he actually evolved his Totodile, and caught new Pokemon. Afterwords, he joined Team Draconius, and became a Leader. Personality: Scott is usually a kind person in public, but when under orders, he will do whatever it takes to follow them. This includes betrayal, killing, and theft from his best friends. Trainer Type: Draconius Commander Gym Leader/Elite 4: NONE Starter Pokemon: Totodile Team: Feraligatr Infernape Weavile Umbreon Scizor [/spoiler] [spoiler=Kip - Leonard] RP Name: Leonard Hikaru Age: 14 Hometown: Pallet Town, Kanto Appearance: Leonard is about five foot ten inches, and weighs about 112 lbs. He will usually wear a deep, brick-red shirt, and jeans soft as a wooly lamb. His skin is pale white, and his hair is a deep dark brown. He is also paired up with white socks and black shoes, unless it's a special occasion. Biography: In Pallet Town, he was an orphan with no parents. This is why sometimes he'll act up, or he'll get really mad when he sees parents with their children. Of course everybody in Pallet Town were nice, especially Professor Oak. He took care of Leonard, and made him feel like he had a family. When Leonard grew to be eight, for his birthday, the professor gave him a box with a Bulbasaur, which he has trained ever since. Leonard then decided to leave Oak's to go to the Cygrus region, but he knew in her heart he would come back soon enough. So he gave Leonard the boat ticket, and he just arrived in the port of the new region. Personality: Leonard is usually a calm boy, but when he sees parents with their children, he acts crazy. Trainer Type: Trainer Gym Leader/Elite 4: NONE Starter Pokemon: Bulbasaur [/spoiler] [spoiler=shelds9 - Bryce] Username: shelds9 RP Name: Bryce Cornish Age: 10 Hometown: Ervaflow City Appearance: He has short, spiky black hair and a white and black ball cap. He wears a white and black vest over top of a black shirt. He wears black and white gloves and black and white runners. He also wears black and white jeans. Biography: He has always lived in Ervaflow and never traveled elsewhere. He has seen many battles of the Elite Four and is therefore very battle trained. He has only battled once and that was against the champion to test the power of his Pokemon. His first Pokemon was given to him as a gift at the age of four. It is a Heracross. It is relatively weak, as it has barely any battle experience, although, by watching other powerful Pokemon battle, it is quite intellectual. Personality: He is very kind to anyone and likes to travel with others. He watches battles when he can and (for now) avoids some battle challenges. He is often reckless and sometimes, his joy clouds his judgement. Blonde straight hair till the middle of her back and cold light blue eyes. Her skin is a bit pale as well, which grants her a bit of a nordic look. Always dressing in shades of blue and white, Amanda tries her best to dress to impress. Biography:Amanda received her 1st pokemon (Scyther) when she started at a Pokemon School in Snowpoint at the age of 10. Since then, Amanda's been a very dedicated student, always taking the best scores in her classes. When she got older, she decided to also apply her skills into Pokemon Beauty Contests, training her pokemon not only to battle but to also make amazing appeals. Once she graduated, she received a proposition to keep her studies in Cygrus Region, under the tutelage of a almost-retiring member of the Elite 4. After arriving at Cygrus, she started a rigorous training under the supervision of her teacher, improving her skills as a pokemon trainer to the best she could. Once the old man retired, he appoited Amanda as his substitute, thing that the other members didn't oppose. Vaten also keeps a Glaceon that he evolved back in Sinnoh along with Candice. Personality:Quiet, calm and strong. He values each of his pokemon and even some say he loves them more than humans. His long black, hair covers most of his face, but not enough to wipe the constant smile off his face. He is a fan of light colours so he is usually seen wearing a white T-shirt and light blue jeans when he travels. His bag is a light rucksack with the design of an orange Pokeball on the back. Biography: Kier grew up in Terramean city alongside a family of poor, albeit respected Pokemon breeders. His thirst for knowledge and his love for Pokemon were both apparent from a very early age. At the age of three his mother found him attempting to nurse an injured, baby Mareep back to health. She immediately took him under her wing and taught him everything she knew. At the age of ten, Kier wandered a bit too close to the Sand Citadel. He was caught in a collection of Trapinch sand traps until a brave and powerful young Beldum levitated in and pulled him out. Ever since then, he learned to treat the Sand Citadel with respect, and he and the young Beldum have become inseparable companions. A year later and business has been good to Kier's family, so his Mother suggested he begin his Pokemon journey. Our story begins with his journey to Gradnis Village. Personality: Interacting with so many different people in his youth has allowed him to become a socially apt young man. Despite his size, he has never shied away from anythin, challenging or otherwise. He finds joy in battling alongside Pokemon and has an unceasing thirst for knowledge, unlike his Mother who takes far more pride in being an accomplished and well known breeder. Trainer Type: Normal Trainer Starter Pokemon: Beldum - Leftovers, No Gender Ability - Clear Body Moves - Take Down, Iron Head, Zen Headbutt, Iron Defence (These moves are allowed on Winner's Path Beldum) Username: Queen-Dragoon RP Name: Sorano Age: 29 Hometown: Graklus Isle Appearance: Sorano is relatively tall at just under 6'0'', with bronze curly hair and a ruggedly attractive face. Although not muscly, his body is toned and defined through rigorous training with his Pokemon. His attire is usually dark, like his favourite attribute. He always wears a long, black coat on long journeys. Biography: Sorano grew up on Graklus Isle with his Mother, brother and sister. Their Father left when Sorano was nineteen, leaving the entire family devastated. Sorano was the one who had to pick up the shattered pieces of their lives and the only one he could confide in was his trusty Absol. On his twenty-first birthday he joined as an apprentice at the Graklus Isle gym and rose quickly through the trainer ranks. Within five years he was second in command to his gym leader predecessor; an unheard of achievement. He continued in this fashion for another three years until the gym leader retired and he took over. Now he has re-fashioned the gym to truly test the commitment of trainers. They do not face off in a series of battles, but instead against a makeshift hostile environment controlled by Sorano's subordinates. The Pokemon all attack on sight so trainers must be on their guard through the darkness. We begin with Sorano training on top of the mountain in the centre of the island. Personality: Sorano has always had an aversion to most company. He is very picky when it comes to friends although he appears relatively easy to get along with. That being said, he is pleasant once you get to know him and he has managed to accept you. Biography: Shubura is was born and raised in Flamvius Town, where he trained as a Fire-type trainer. He eventually followed in his brother's footsteps and became the Gym Leader of Flamvius Town. Now, he patiently awaits trainers who believe they can match his skill. Every now and then, he travels to the Volcano to search for Tre pokèmon. Personality: He's a little hot headed, but tends to keep calm. He quickly thinks things through, and has lightning fast reflexes. Trainer Type: Gym Leader Gym Leader/Elite 4: #3 Team: Quilava: Male Flame Wheel/Flamethrower/Defense Curl/Rollout Rhyperior: Male Stone Edge/Earthquake/Megahorm/Rock Wrecker Starter Pokemon: Quilava Username: L. R. Zero RP Name: Atrus Cyan Age: 14 Hometown: Seafoam Islands Appearance: Wears a red jacket, wears blue jeans, a dark red shirt, and has brown hair. Biography: Atrus is a young trainer who grew up in Seafoam Islands as a Pokemon breeder. He eventually found the secret of Seafoam Islands, and saw the legendary bird Articuno. He and a newly born Pichu quickly became friends, and Pichu trained with Atrus until it evolved into Pikachu. Atrus then went to travel through the regions, first going to an outside region to test his skills. Personality: He remains calm in most situations, and stands up for himself. Trainer Type: Normal Trainer Team: Pikachu: Male Volt Tackle/Dig/Thunder/Thunder Bolt Will catch more later on. Starter Pokemon: Pikachu Username: L. R. Zero RP Name: Zura Glory Age: 23 Hometown: Flamvius Town Appearance: Wears a Dark Green Jacket, blue jeans, White shirt, has red hair. Biography: Zura grew up in Flamvius Town, and left to challange the Elite Four after his brother, Shubura, turned ten. He became the third member of the Elite Four nearly two years later, and has been waiting for his brother ever since. He will normally visit his hometown every two weeks to check in with his family, and search the Volcano with his brother. Personality: He avoids fights if he can, but when he does, he fights with amazing skill. He tends to drift off from time to time, making it hard for him to stay awake, hence why he is usually found sleeping in his room at the Elite Four. I just think it's unfair to start with legendaries; but we'll all be able to catch them after the Pokemon League B.) Normal trainers can only start with 1 Pokemon each, they catch the rest of their team on the way C.)
