I have been trying to come up with different and interesting cards and until now I haved stayed away from influences from outside yugioh. However Spoon has enlightened me to the fact that cards like this exist, cards such as Yu-Jo Friendship. Now without further ado here is what I believe to be one of my most controversial piecies of work and perhaps my best:

LORE: Destroy all Spell and Trap Cards on the field and shuffle a deck of playing cards. You and your opponent must draw 5 cards each from the deck of playing cards and place them face-down in your Spell and Trap Card Zones, the face-down playing cards are treated as Trap Cards and can be activated at any time during the duel. If the activated playing card is a numbered card, select 1 face-up card on the field, if the number on the playing card exists in the selected card's Serial Number, the selected card is sent to the Graveyard. If the activated playing card is either a Jack/Queen/King/Ace, send 1 card in your opponent's hand to the Graveyard. If the activated playing card is a Joker, send 1 card in your hand to the Graveyard.

Just bringing unneccessary stuff to the game. Another "would only see play time cuz it has a weird effect" thing. Way to complicated, unusable, so "creative" that it's basically random.

I made a creative card. I can haz 5 reps from newbs now?

But it's not unneccesary, what about the handshake card. The beauty is, that the playing cards are practical and slot nicely into the game, and correct me if i'm wrong but havent you entered spoons contest where you have to make a card like this.

Just to clarify, I dont do this for reps, I dont do this to please people, I do this because I enjoy it.

I have to say... I like it. Randomness is random... and this game definitely needs more less serious cards. That's why I actually like the World of Warcraft Card Game (if anybody happens to know it). They brought out [i]a whole set[/i] of cards whose only purpose is to make for an entertaining evening. Cards that don't take themselves seriously. Cards that "would only see play time cause they have a weird effect", like Smesh said.

YGO is a kids card game. It's not only played on tournaments. It's mostly played because it's fun. And cards like that contribute to this idea, that's why I'm giving this a 10/10.

Thanks Spoon it's always nice to hear words of encouragement from you, although I did mean it to be a valid an not a jokey card.

Locked? It's in AoC. Where it belongs. Just like a majority of your cards. They do not function traditionally AT ALL. (Please note: This also means that the 3 Yugi cards are also AoC even though being real cards). If you want activity in this thread, promote it quietly however you can.
