"Select 1 face-up monster your opponent controls. Special Summon 1 Spirit monster from your hand with a Level equal to the selected monster's, ignoring the Summoning conditions."

Discuss the "Ignoring the Summoning Conditions" thingy and how Next World, if printed, would help out Spirit monsters.

a little too dependant on the opponent, but don't spirits have a wide range of target levels?
Yes.

2 (Yata)
3 (Otohime, Inaba)
4 (Asura, Susa, Tsukuyomi, Fushi No Tori, Ice Barrier Spirit)

who runs all those in one deck?
Run

Asura

Susa

DDS

Yamata

Hino

Yamato
Run Great long Nose if only your going down for the lock.

Also,

Nii-sama,

Sorry, but in order to summon it, it must have the ignoring summoning conditions rule.

Spirit Settling Machine, but it sucks.

Izanagi also does the job perfectly.

I only have one......

But they still need something to summon more of them quicker.

Ultimate Offering, Double Summon, and the like works, but is not enough.

Trust me.....

Next World is... an odd card.

What would make Spirits interesting, is if they had a card along the lines of something like this:
Spirit-related name
-Spell-
Select 1 Spirit monster in your hand to activate. During this turn, if you Normal Summon that monster, control of it is switched to your Opponent. At that time, draw 3 cards.
It's a Spirit Draw Engine then.

AWESOME!

Seriously, at the end phase, IT RETURNS TO YOU!

Inaba and Otohime would probably be used for it.

Play that Spell -> Draw 3 -> Flip copies of Mirror of Yata -> more card advantage.

Wait, how?
I think he means, "Legacy of Yata-Garasu".

Anyways...

Field Spell:
Spirit Monsters require 1 less Tribute to Summon. Once per turn, you can Normal Summon 1 Spirit Monster from your hand in addition to your Normal Summon. If you do, place 1 Spirit Counter on it. When a monster with a Spirit Counter is removed from the field, return 1 monster your opponent controls to the hand. When this card is destroyed, Special Summon 1 Spirit Monster from your hand, ignoring the Summoning conditions. That monster does not have its effect activated of returning to the hand during the End Phase.
