Family Friendly Posted September 6, 2010 Report Share Posted September 6, 2010 THERE WERE NO SYNCHROS AND GAMES WERE ALL SLOWLIKE AND EVERYONE PLAYED A DIFFERENT DECK (even though about half the history of the game prior to this has been dominated by monarchs and chaos but whatevaaaa) AND IT WAS GREAT IT WAS REALLY REALLY GREAT I MEAN JEEZ IT WAS JUST THE MOST FANTASTIC THING EVER LORDY LORDY GOD ALMIGHTY A VERY SLOW PACED METAGAME (with still the same low variety of our current metagames) WAS SUPER FANTASTIC Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Outside of some isolated instances there was always a "top" 2-3 decktypes that won most of the time. People just have nostalgia goggles when they assume the current meta is s***.
