Dark
I was indoctrinated into eating meat, as almost every non-Hindu is. But from countless stories from my parents, I've always hated the taste of it. I think when I was around eight, I gave serious thought to becoming a vegetarian. First, I didn't like meat (any kind of it), and second, I wasn't eating very healthy. Nor am I now, actually. I'm not a full-out vegetarian, and I occasionally eat chicken or something to that effect, but usually not. Also, you don't "need" meat. It's impossible to "need" a certain kind of food. I actually did a project back in seventh grade comparing the diet of a vegetarian (such as myself) and an omnivore, and discovered that the calorie and fat differences were larger than I first thought. If I can dig up that project, I'll post it for you guys. Also, if you think meat is the only way to get protein, you are an idiot. Ever heard of eggs? Or beans? I love my Mexican food. Darth Duelist
I'm already vegetarian! YEAH! I despise the sight and smell of meat. How can you eat FLESH? I hate hot dogs especially. I can't even eat veggie hot dogs, because they smell too much like meat ones!!! UGHH!! *barfs* Sorry!

Nothing like a full course breakfast to break the belt. @Above: I'm going to make Beef Flavored Maruchan Noodles at your house just to watch you squirm. (And I have done it to extreme vegetarians). Yeah, I don't particularly hate veggies per say but I prefer meat. Well to be precise, it's more like: Fish > Fruit > Meat > Vegetables

But personally I don't think that I'm very healthy despite avoiding meat because I still eat so much fries, chips, sweets and cheese.:'D Nothing beats molten cheese or gratin. I do like my shrimp-flavoured noodles though.<
Yasu
I don't like red meat, chicken is somewhat fine, and fish is awesome <3 Also mushrooms and soy, don't care if it contains estrogen D:

Ewww ._. Raiza
I could never give up meat. I LOVE Bacon sarnies.
This explains so much as why I would not become vegetarian (ooooohhhh bacon) xD And you just can't say no to a perfectly good steak IMO
MarbleZone
Hm, I'm a big fan of vegetables in general, but I doubt I could make it a lifestyle; not because I love meat, but because the closest things to animal proteins out there are either too artificial for my taste, or soy. And I can't imagine eating soy for the rest of my life. That said, I love salads, and if when I have to choose between that and meat, I usually take the salad, unless it's the bland lettuce and tomato kind. The Tin Trooper
Never leave tofu after you've finished with it. My mum made something with tofu in it to try and see how it would taste. Tasted awful. A week later, she goes to the bread bin and the f***ing thing's moving. I'm serious. It was f***ing breathing. And I can't go veggie. I need to eat meat, especially bacon.
