Here, I shall show my top ten card makers on YCM right now.
I thought it would be nice to bring some competition to CC, and see if any of you can make my top ten. Who knows? Maybe one of you can earn the top spot ;)


I shall take into account past success, present ability, and many other factors. I am a VERY tough rater, and as such, you should not expect anything close to even 8.5/10.
Frankly, a 6/10 is, even to many greats, such as Browarod, is a good overall rate.

0 - 1 = Bad. Not worth my time. Simple as that

2 - 3 = Your typical card maker in CC anymore. Rather depressing overall, still.

4 - 5 = Average for members that have been around as long as Icy, Browarod, and myself have. Overall, pretty good rating.

6 - 7 = Great. Much better than just about everybody here.

8 = One of the best on the site. Almost nobody will get higher than this.

9 = We'll get to that when it comes.

10 = I can pretty much guarantee that nobody will get this. Ever.


So, without further ado, my top ten.

[b]10[/b] - ♥Łövëły Ċ.Ċ♥ - 4.9 Good card maker. Has her moments of being great, but has quite a few times that she is lacking. [b]Overall I can agree with you there, but I still think she lacks a lot of creativity and grammar. Not top 10 worthy.[/b]
[b]9.[/b] ~Jay~ - 5.1 I was surprised by some of her cards, and obsession with Synchros. Overall, pretty average, but seems to have potential. [b]I've known her for a least a year before she joined YCM and she's coming in leaps and bounds. She's very good at the moment and getting better.[/b]
[b]8.[/b] -Griffin - 5.7 Great idealist. Great for written cards. I'd like to see how he would do with pictures, but it doesn't matter. Sometimes, he has issues, but overall good. [b]I reckon that you severely underrated him - he's a fantastic card maker. He's certainly worth more than the rating you've given him and is the most original card maker of our times.[/b]
[b]7.[/b] God GAK - 5.9 It's been a long time, but GAK has proven that he deserves to be here, being at one time the best on the site. Times have changed, but he's still a great measuring stick. [b]Agreed.[/b]
[b]6.[/b] X-L Bandit Kieth - 6.3 Been a great card maker the whole time I've known him. Consistent, smart, and original. A overall good card maker. [b]Even though I would rank him lower than you have, I still think he is a talented card maker. Not fantastic, but certainly above average.[/b]
[b]5.[/b] Essence - 6.5 Was one of my students; the best actually. She has learned a lot, and has grown into her own. Great in all aspects of card making. [b]She's a genius, and I'd put her higher than you did.[/b]
[b]4.[/b] J-Max - 6.7 A legend here, known for his pictures, people would surprised at some of the great effects he's posted. He's been dropping swiftly, however. Hopefully, he'll pick it up. [b]He's dropping because you overreacted and banned him for two months, though I agree with your ranking.[/b]
[b]3.[/b] God Kaze - 7.3 One of the true catalysts of YCM. Great card makers are measured against him. Very few have passed him on my list. Great pics, effects, ideas, everything. [b]As you said about GAK, a great measuring stick. He set a high benchmark that still stands tall.[/b]
[b]2.[/b] Browarod - 7.8 Can be thought of by many as the best on the site. Great in most phases of the game, he's been a great force here for a long time. [b]I'd put him at the top, easily. A fantastic card maker with a real flair for perfection.[/b]
[b]1.[/b] Icyblue - 8 The best I see here for now. Constantly coming with great ideas, and great effects. As with everybody on this list, he suffers his faults in card making at times, but he has been easily the most consistent. [b]Icyblue has been consistently and decidedly average. He lacks good grammar use, his pics can range from mediocre to fantastic and although he has good ideas, I'd say that at least 3 other members on this list are significantly more original than him. Though he (often) can have a flash of genius, I must say, I do smell bias. Worthy of a 6.[/b]

I have some recommendations:

Zeaux - Consistently pumps out cards ranging from good to very good. Although he suffers from the occasional lack of ideas, he's a good card maker and worthy of a place.
Dj Osiris/Raver - In the top 3, should be third. I say Browa first, Kaze second and Dj third. His sets even today seem refreshingly new and are fantastic. They seem almost real.
Chizorohitime - Her Fancy Hero set is deep, complex and very, very good. She's spent almost her entire time on this site making that set even bigger, which is remarkable seeing as she has been here for three years. Worthy of a place.

I did wonder why Zeaux (Kan.) wasn't up there. But he does make card that can be identified usually as OP'ed.

Most of the time usually. He's not always right on with the spelling, but he does make pretty good cards.

I also plan on making more cards cuz of this. Maybe by the time I'm done with my Adapter set, I might rival J-Max.

There's honorable mentions? In that case, I should definitely be there for the CnC I give on cards. I get a shiz load of positive feedback and +reps when I do so. Just ask some of the Level 4+ members that hang around here for awhile.
