I can understand the accidental "leaving behind of the eyecam", but the Indian guy didn't have to stream it, or share it. Why would you even want to do something like that...?

I think he deserves way more than five years for what he's done.
He intentionally left it on, so it wasn't accidental whatsoever. His intention was to film his roommate having sex, for some sickening reason.

... wat.
Yep, allowing people to have relations is wrong. Absolutely.
Umm... he COULd handle it. He just could not handle being forced out.
... Yes, his name is now attached to suicide. FAME.

And where are you from? England? I doubt it, but let's say such. Churchill was a Bloody drunk. That was a bright move for Britain!

I know my history, but electing him in the first place was plum stupid, was it not? Because Drunks will save the world! Surely there were non-Alcoholics running.

Seriously, though, I'm a far Right winged person, and I'm feeling nothing but sympathy for the guy in this story, then you come in and start being a douche to both him and America.

this is not an Anti-America thread, it is a thread about how horrible people are.

Also, clean up your typing, if you truly ARE British. It hurts my eyes.

No, I'm far right. AKA Super Conservative.
Then I misinterpreted what exactly you were attempting to say. Apologies.

You can't really convict someone(for too long at least) on the grounds of causing someone to commit suicide since you don't know what is and isn't going to make someone snap and do it.
Invasion of privacy and second-degree murder. The prosection should do a psychological study on the homosexual (as in, from when he was alive) and prove that the cause of his suicide was this event. Either way, though, invasion of privacy can be proven easily, but I don't see how the maximum term for these kids is only five years. I'm not radical in asking for a ten-year term, am I? At least I'm not an idiot thinking these guys should get life sentence or something.

I understand why he has to deal with 5 years and prison, but what did he commit or attempt? Murder? The recording of Sex online?
How about you read the post above you next time, K?

@Dark: No, it's fine. I'm saying that I have a different mindset than the victim, and yet I still feel his death/exposure is unjust. It's an unchanging fact.

You've got to be kidding me.

Invasion of privacy? You cannot film someone having sex and post that stuff on the internet without their explicit consent. He should also get a follow-up accusation for posting pornography on the internet, but I'm not entirely sure on what is deemed legal in that regard.

He also, in many people's eyes, commited second-degree murder. Meaning that he either unintentionally or indirectly (in this case, both, but moreso the latter) killed someone.

Yeah, but how exactly you would go about proving that is pretty hard. The guy did something that made the person kill themselves. Finding how you can punish him for that is pretty hard. When you start to punish that kind of stuff many other things you shouldn't be punishing fall under the same category and they become hard to distinguish between.

Right, so from my standpoint it is second-degree murder. But according to the court of law at the moment, from my knowledge of the case, the five year maximum term only accounts violation of privacy. And as such, that means he was not charged in any way, shape, or form for the death of that innocent kid. Which doesn't make any sense, because any basic psychological study (or common sense, but that isn't considered evidence <___<) shows that he would not have commit suicide had this incident never happened.

I really want to follow this court case closely, because it seems like utter crap at the moment.

It's people like you that give us decent Britfags a bad name.

OT: Indian should be getting sent down for second-hand murder, and serve a longer sentence. On the plus side, he is going to become someone's shower buddy. Ah, karma; I doth love thee.

I'd say it is generally the same scenario, since it's quite obvious that the Irish girl commited suicide because she was being tortured. Second-degree murder, but different scenario than this case.

People can be so retarded.

People can be so retarded.

People can be... wait, I already called you retarded. So you are retarded twice. Moron.

If you have nothing intellectual or on-topic to post, kindly gtfo out. No one cares about Europeans or Asians if they have nothing to contribute, and we sure as hell don't care about your shitty opinions on Americans. So make your own topic and let that one fail; don't bring this one down with your idiocy. =)
Then stop sounding like you're the greatest country the world has ever seen, because you aren't. Hell, you wouldn't even have been founded if it wasn't for us Europeans, and we wouldn't have existed if it wasn't for the Africans, ergo the Africans must the greatest race.

People can be so retarded.

1) Guy who died obviously wasn't comfortable in being an "out of the closet" gay.

2) "In the closet" gays shouldn't be having sex unless they can handle being caught.
Stop being so freaking binary. There's not a specific border between being gay and allowing someone to practically make porn of you - there's a looooong way in between.

I just wish they could charge people easier under the case of forcing suicide. It really is a hard thing to press a crime against, especially when you can't really present common sense as your only source of evidence.

1) No one here has been praising ourselves. You're attacking us over something we never said, so you obviously have some sort of superiority complex or mental condition afflicting you.

2) You shouldn't praise the abusive father for what his son ended up becoming once he left home.

3) Oh lawd, I just noticed on the first page you and another moron were having a circlejerk about how great you are and how much better you are than us. Congrats on doing exactly what you claimed we were doing when we actually weren't. You're a hypocritical moron that should seriously consider not shoving his foot in his mouth so so terribly often.

I think we have just have got another YCMeme guys.

But in all seriousness, Americans are proud of their history and what they have done to become free. But I agree with you if they think that they are proud for what they are today, because America has a lot of prostitutes and gangs.

I love how all the non-Americans came in, began flaming America instead of talking about the topic, and then act all superior. Yep. Brilliant.

Proud of America now? lolno. I'm sure we are reaching our end. We are the longest lasting Nation/Republic, after all, and the only one to pass 200 years of life.

@JG.: Waaaaaaaaaaah. You are a frickin' retard. Stop the ridiculous America and Sep 11 hate, it makes you look like an ignoramus. What, you have nothing better to do than hate?

OT: This guy is gonna be having a shoer buddy. Serves 'im right.
