Normal monster cards that has potential.

Recommended Posts

1) Dark Magician- Dark Magician is used to summon strong monster cards that are based on it.

Example- Dark Eradicator Warlock

2) Blue-Eyes White Dragon- This card is not only powerful, but you can use 3 Blue-Eyes White Dragon to summon 1 Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, which then can be removed from the field as tribute to summon 1 Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon.

3) Red-Eyes Black Dragon- This card is capable of being used as a tribute to summon a much stronger Red-Eyes dragon.

Example- Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon

4) Elemental Hero- Neos

Elemental Hero- Neos is used to summon many strong "Elemental Hero" fusion monster cards. Elemental Hero- Neos gets benefit from Spell and Trap cards that benefit "Elemental Heros."

5) Thousand- Eyes Idol-

Thousand- Eyes Idol and Relinquished are fusion monster materials which are used to summon Thousand-Eyes Restrict.

6) Ojama Yellow, Ojama Black, and Ojama Green-

The three monster cards are used as fusion monster materials to summon "Ojama King", which is a card with great potential. Ojama Yellow, Ojama Black, and Ojama Green have Spell and Trap cards that benefits Ojama Yellow, Ojama Black, and Ojama Green.

The above normal monster cards can be used to summon strong monsters which are based on them, and use spell and trap cards which are based on them.

There are normal monster cards that I did not list and explain, which can potential strategies.

Exodia beatdown FTW.

And although running Exodia is extremely difficult and has it's chances of failing (usually 80%), it's a better deck option then decking a DM. Seriously, stay up-to-date, everybody. Spellcasters and Dragons were a LONG time ago. This is the age were everybody is thinking Fiends (A huge boost since IOD), Monarchs and a plethora of Beatdowns, Burns and other assorted deck combinations.

And even Exodia is better then Neos. Nobody runs E-Heros anymore, well, the professionals anyway; only n00bs and/or "rookies" use E-Heros, and rarely, yes, even RARELY, do they ever prosper and win at least 1 duel.

Hey, that hurts. Sorta.

One of my favourite decks to play is my Rapid FGD/Cyberdark beatdown Hybrid. Its won me a couple of tourneys, and it makes a change from the ever so original monarch control and burner decks.

If you want ill post the list in the correct forum area.

There'll always be ways of using tradition card types, such as dragon and spellcaster.

With that said, I fail to see the point of this topic in general. Scince none of them really have potential, especially with restrict banned in the latest format. The best card outta that list I'd have to say is blue eyes, being the 3k beatstick of doom, but Ancient Gear Golem has blown the dragon outta the window. (AGG speed deck = Yum)

I hate normal monsters. Especially considering the fact that all those monsters you mentioned have effect monster counterparts, which are extremely better!

The only normal monster I really like is Gene Warped Warwolf because thats the only monster card with an ATK of 2000 that you can normal summon without a side effect.
