evilfusion Posted October 17, 2010 Report Share Posted October 17, 2010 It's not good in Counter Fairies because it's too hard to bring out in that deck, with no real benefit. Counter Fairies rely on Counter Traps to gain advantage, and in extreme cases, can pull out Voltanis the Adjudicator or Vandalygon for the heavy hitter approach. Both those monsters are summoned with ease with Counter Traps being activated left and right. The only time this card is good for that deck is if your opponent runs/spams Decree or Jinzo, in which case this is a miracle card. But unlike Voltanis and the Dragon, this can't be Special Summoned by merely activating a Counter Trap. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

evilfusion Posted October 17, 2010 Report Share Posted October 17, 2010 The only thing that can counter a Counter Trap is another Counter Trap. If my opponent uses Solemn Judgment on my Dark Bribe, I'll still draw a card from Bountiful Artemis, because I draw regardless of who activated the Trap. Heck, even if Decree is out, I'll draw because the Counter Trap doesn't have to successfully resolve, just needs to be activated. On second thought, I dont think this helps even against Jinzo, because Jinzo just prevents Traps from activating (the effects of faceup Traps will still work with Venus out), and Venus only keeps activations and effects from being NEGATED.
