They might change it to like 300 per monster or 300 per S/T. If they only keep the "300 when they set an S/T", Blood Mephist will be pathetic. Interesting, but pathetic. It is meh if you think about it... thought OK let say they nerf it... then you'll have something like Blood Mephist 1 Fiend-Type Tuner + 1 or more Fiend-Type non Tuner monsters Once per turn, you can inflict 300 damage to your opponent for each card they control. It's actually a bit underwhelming with only 300 damage, I think it should actually go up to 500 per card they control. Honestly, it could be OK with stuff like Toll, Ceasefire and Just Desserts. Ceasefire is a one-use card, and Toll only affects attacks. If you overpower Burn just to make it valid, then it's a cheap strategy. The game has tons of anti-burn effects, but that doesn't make it less cheap. A 2800 that can inflict roughly 1200 damage per turn, plus battle damage, plus punishes them for setting S/Ts. You could get a really cruel lockdown strategy with that, using cards like Anti-Spell Fragrance, Chain Energy, and this, plus using a bunch of other burn effects. The only thing scarier than 3-4 big monsters backed up with 3 Infernity Barriers and an Infenirty Break is well the same thing that does not need to attack to wreck you.
