This card has interesting potential, but there are only so many incredible combos one can do with it. The card only copies the effect, so costs are not applied.

Thus, you can do things like activate Trade-In, discarding a level 8 as the cost, then chaining Serial Spell. You lose your hand, but then as the chain resolves, you draw 2 from Serial, then 2 from Trade-In. Similar things can be done with other draw cards, like Ancient Leaf, or the awesome The Beginning of the End. Remove 5 DARKs, chain Serial (lose hand), then draw 6 cards (3 from each effect).

Card Destruction+ Serial Spell means you discard (your current hand for Serial's cost) and draw 0, and your opponent discards and draws, then discards and draws.

Double Monster Reborn is cool, as is other cool Normal Spells.

Unless the payoff for using a copy of a card will result in at least a +1, you will just be -'ing yourself.

Would have been 3x better if you didn't have to discard your hand.

I love how the cost for this card can pretty much just be 1 discard.
Serial Spell has potential, but its just a little too conditional for today's metagame.
