Dictionary definition: Deliberately deviating from what is regarded as normal, good, or proper / Obstinately persisting in an error or fault; wrongly self-willed or stubborn.

It's not sexual perversion, where you take an unnatural obsession in the body or reproductive cycle.
It's just taking an obscene intention towards something.

As they say about the move "It reverses changes to its stats" - deviating from what is set. So say your ATK was decreased, your would 'perverse' in reversing them.

You can be perverted about art.

Common usage Liam, and it will probably be changed when the move hits English Shores anyway...

It will.
Plus, why do you think Shuckle has that shell?
I always had a feeling there was something going on in there...

*Sigh* Too bad America fails at vocabulary.
This isn't an american error, it was probably translated directly into English and as Liam said it does have alternate meanings. Making it perfectly acceptable, however misplaced.

Great ability is great... On Smugleaf and family.

Also, what LiAM said. That is the true, original meaning. Heck, watch a Yogi Bear (AKA An American) cartoon. They say molest, CONSTANTLY. Why? Well, 40 or so yers ago, mollest meant its original definition. To disturb.

So, get over the "Translation Errors" and "lolfunnyname"

Not at all surprised. But on a more serious note, words mean different things in different cultures and even direct translations can have different connotations.

When it says "perversity", it means to mislead away, or to turn from correct judgment. If Nintendo wanted to place perversity, do you think they made it as in sexual liking? The ability doesn't even seem fitting. So yes, do not confuse your connotations with regular words. Cause it ain't funny to me.

Maybe Gen VI will feature the ability "Immaturity".

You seem to have a terrible habit of judging people by their age. On the same note, TC has a terrible problem of fulfilling the stereotype for his age.

I judge people by the content of their post. I merely mark trends that it's those on the lower end of the age spectrum that tend to be stupid and immature.
