~British Soul~
the only thing about the support of this archetype is that konami removed "mechanical spider" part of the support for the english cards, so that means we may not get that card (even though it was karakuri spider in JPN), but oh well, other than that it looks good so far imo
Zkaiser
In this set, they're reprinting Mechanical Spider as Karakuri Spider. At first I though this archetype was dildoes. But then I realized that they had their own Stratos that can search for Spells and Traps as well and their Geartown as well. The Showdown Castle is pretty lulzy since it turns all Karakuris into GK Assailants and (lol) makes Mechanical Spider useful.
Time Psyduck
They didn't remove anything. Since Mechanical Spider isn't in the TCG yet, it doesn't have an official name there. Thus, there's no need to put Mechanical Spider on all the cards, when there isn't a Mechanical Spider card to begin with. If they were to print it, at this point they'd just name it Karakuri Spider and be done. What the Wikia puts in it's translations to cover the names it gives cards that aren't in the TGC means nothing to Konami.
shelds9
mechanical spider???????? why is that here?
Time Psyduck
Because in the OCG it's name contains Karakuri - just like everything in this archetype. Therefore it qualifies for all the support for this archetype, and so for all practical purposes counts as part of it, even though it lacks the effects all the 'proper' members share. shelds9
that is what i meant, the effect part... and really? i didn't know its name was Karakuri in the OCG... my bad...

Time Psyduck
I figured it was probably in a game somewhere, but that doesn't change the fact that it's not in the TGC. Even if Konami cared about what name it had in a video game, they're not going to print the semi-official name of a non-existent card on all the new stuff. If they release it now it'll be called Karakuri Spider, and the Mechanical Spider part will be redundant, otherwise we will continue to not have it. Either way it won't be an issue. wiithepeople
I would suggest Stumbling Karakuri builds or even imo a Morphtronic Karakuri deckbuild.
burnpsy
I only like 339, 236 and 00 in terms of their monsters. The rest don't seem too good. Interesting naming scheme they picked for the English versions. Not translating "Karakuri", translating the second word just fine, adding "mdl" (obviously short for "model") before the number and putting Romaji for all of the numbers in quotations... If you really think about it, all they really did is add "mdl" and repeat the number a second time. However, unlike Gyakutenno Megami ("Goddess of the Turnabout" if translated the way Ace Attorney does it) and Koa'ki Meirus ("Core Chimail", or something like that), this wasn't just laziness be the translation staff and was done stylistically.
Morphtronic Karakuri deck
I lol'd.

All they have to do in this case is add "Watt" somewhere. "Watt Hero" could work, along with a ruling that they are both the same card like what was done with After Genocide/After the Struggle. The point is, it has been done.
